I was the same, I barely used the Bikes. Although the bikes may have been quicker in some ways, there was nothing worse than hitting a car and having to wait for the bike to respawn. I guess technically TDU1 should be called Test Drive/Ride Unlimited haha :)

Although the sounds may not be that great, I definitely believe as cruiseking mentioned there are substantial improvements made over TDU1 that could justify the lack of accurate sounds. In my experience, it can be quite costly to implement very accurate sounds and it can take up a lot of disk space which could be used for other things like more accurate tracks, and more vehicles. I noticed stirkac mentioned that he would return back to LFS, unfortunately that was one reason why I barely play that game anymore.

I thought i would re-introduce myself to the forum. I haven't been able to get on as much as I would like :)

I'm impressed mate, I can't wait to see the final version. I find in my simulator its more involving when you are all tucked in :)

I also found out that the locations of certain car dealerships are actually in the same location, especially the Ferrari dealership

Since I properly gave Test Drive Unlimited a go I've been in awe at not only its graphics but its variety in cars and amazingly detailed Hawaii world. I can't wait to see the new Unlimited 2 when it comes out. Awesome pics

Thats really unfortunate, It should have no problems if its original. they might have burn't the game and registered on gamespy with that cd key

mmmmm Comfy chairs, who sent me the chair? :) Thanks heaps for the intro, A little history with TDU, I played the demo at a mates place, it didn't catch my eye straight away, so I left it for quite some time. Then recently I needed to review it for my site, and I started playing again. I fell in love with it, now i wish i gave it more of a chance haha I play it more than my other games now!
