  1. I replaced the 71 Stingray convertible, then used the camera from the Superbee, and the IK rig from the Charger RT.
  2. IK is an animation method, it's an acronym for Inverse Kinematics. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inverse_Kinematics
  3. Depending on the year of the show, they used at least 4 different kinds of rims, all similar, but not exactly the same.
  4. How is he "wasting your bandwidth or time" by making requests??? Maybe if those who know how to mod the game would stop relying on pre-made models and completely ignoring the request section it wouldn't be a problem.
  5. I haven't tried the Vette IK, but the Elise has the driver half-ghosted thru the seat and somewhat reclined. The best one I found was the Mustang GT, the driver sits straight up in the seat, no ghosting at all.
  6. Pics #1 and #2, where did those rims come from?
  7. Too bad this one's been stopped, I would have loved to see the BlackBird in TDU.
  8. There's a better version of this in another topic..... http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=11421
  9. I think it's this one.... http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=8680

  11. Use the sound made for the Ariel Atom, it's a supercharged 4 banger just like the Mini.
  12. It's a conversion, not a scratch build.
  13. This one has a bug in the shadow, the rims don't cast a shadow at all.
  14. When you made this topic in the WIP section, you had the car going on the Golf, it said at the top of the topic.......Replaces: VW Golf. I checked the topic for progress, it still said Golf, I went out to eat, two hours later I come back, the car is released, and the topic was edited to say the car Replaces: Lotus Elise. I tested the car on the Elise (and the Exige) and it was bugged to no end using those cameras (and you didn't have the camera recommendation listed yet), and the rim+tire combo was way too small and the ride height was cutting the grass. I tested the car on the Golf and everything works right except for the rims you included with the car. I tested half a dozen other rims and they all worked fine on the Golf. I eventually settled on the rims from the Opel Astra. I then continued to test the IK rigs, and eventually settled on the IK rig from the Mustang GT because I had success with that one on the 1969 Pontiac GTO. I paid attention and saw the changes you made to the topic, if you want to dispute those changes, take it up with yourself.
  15. With the new version of DJey's modding tools, you can replace whatever car you want, then use whatever other camera you want, then you can also choose your driver's position with the IK rig. The best camera for this car is the Audi-TT and the best IK rig is the RK Spyder.
  16. Those are Noble rims already in the game if you don't mind the Noble centercap.
  17. It was originally supposed to go on the Golf while it was still in WIP, then he released it, changed it to the Elise, which bugs up the cameras and rim size, now he's edited it to say "use the Golf cameras but put it on the Elise" which still leaves the micro-rims. Best advice, put it on the Golf, but don't use the rims that came with the car, pick any other rim set you want. That way you'll get proper ride height, proper rim+tire size, and proper cameras. Edit: The best IK rig I've found so far for this car is the Mustang GT. The driver's seating position is perfect, the seatbelt stays inside the car, and the hands are almost perfect on the steering wheel.
  18. The rims that came with the car are bugged. This car was supposed to go on the VW Golf just 2 hours ago..... Now it's supposed to go on the Elise, but the cameras and IK for the Elise don't work right, plus when you put it on the Elise, the overall size of the rims and tires is 2 inches too small and the car rides way too low. It gets worse if you put it in the Exige. The rim+tire size is proper on the Golf when you use the Golf's stock rims, but the rims that came with the Mini float inside the tires when you do that, which means the bug is in those rims. Why the last minute switch to the Lotus when it doesn't work right??? Yes I know I can fix the camera and IK with DJey's mod tools, but the rims and tires sizes can't be fixed like that.....
  19. The Ruf IK's seem to be the better ones to use, I used the RK Spyder IK and the only problem was some funkiness with the driver's legs, but you don't see it when driving.
  20. There was a sound posted I think in the AC Schnitzer BMW topic that's very close to that sound, if not in that topic, it was in one of the other BMW M-Series topics. I've got it installed right now, I just can't remember exactly where I got it from.
  21. Do a little research on that, Ferrari was using 800+ horsepower V-12's as late as 1995.
  22. The download link is broken....
  23. This one needs a re-upload.
  24. First, install the car mod to the Noble M-14 slot if that's the one you want to replace. Then before you go into the game make a backup of the DB.bnk file in the Database folder, then run the TDU Modding Tools. Click the Camera&IK button. Select the Noble M-14 from the main menu. Then in the small drop-down box on the lower bar, select the Audi TT, or the Spyker C8. Click the Apply button, then choose Camera. Then in the upper right corner of the page click the Save button. Then just play the game and you should see the camera changes.
  25. The camera and IK swapping function is awesome! It makes hard-to-replace cars like the Spykers, TVR's, and McLarens extremely easy to replace with reliable camera views, and it even makes the Pontiac GTO seatbelt bug go away :D
