  1. The Spyker driver's view is just a bit farther back, which gives you a better view of the interior, plus the hand position on the shift knob is better. Since I haven't tried the camera or IK swap yet, I don't know if they move the steering wheel position, and the wheel position on the TT was better than the Spyker.
  2. I haven't tried either IK or camera swaps because I had a question about them. Are they both like the old-school method of changing paint colors, where it actually swaps the paint's positions in the list? Example... If I wanted to put a car mod on one of the McLaren F1 cars, but wanted a normal camera view, would the centered McLaren view then go onto the other car in the swap? Or is it possible to just "use" a specific view (or IK rig) on a specific car without swapping them? And about the seatbelts, a "delete all seatbelts" option would be cool :D
  3. Without doing any camera or IK changes, this car should work just about anywhere you might want it, it's great for bodyswapping. I tried it on 32 different cars, and 14 of them had good driver's views with just minor adjustments to the ingame options, and 26 of them had good hood views. The best driver's view I found was actually the Spyker C8 Coupe, and the best performance and handling to match the original car was the Edonis. One weird thing I did see with the bodyswaps that I never noticed before was that the steering wheel position gets moved around. Will the camera or IK swap fix that or is that native to the original car itself???
  4. Will it be possible one day to just delete the seatbelts off of specific cars, or turn them on and off? Because with some of the cars, the seatbelts shoot out of the car when you bodyswap.
  5. There aren't any cars in the game slow enough to accurately represent that thing....
  6. I absolutely DESPISE that car in TDU, the one delivery mission where you're forced to drive that car is bugged. There's a place in the mountains that will put damage on the car even if you're in the middle of the road. Eventually I went the long way around, all the way around the mountain....

  8. Jeremy Clarkson is a moronic old fart who shouldn't be allowed to touch a supercar let alone drive one, plus he doesn't say that about ALL paddle shifters, there's actually a couple that he likes. I laughed my butt off when they forced him to ride a bike through Vietnam, plus he crashed it and ended up with some road rash, I guess he shouldn't have badmouthed motorcycle riders all those years, karma sucks doesn't it?
  9. I only asked because it's the perfect starting base for a really good Gallardo sound, it just needs to go higher, everything below 6000 is perfect, it just needs that top end howl.
  10. http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=9289 That's the closest you're going to get to the real thing, a nice screaming V-12 sound. Personally I went for a racing V8 sound just to be different.
  11. Any chance you'd make a true 8000rpm version of this sound?
  12. It works great in the CLS 55 AMG slot.
  13. Uhhh, where did the GReddy vinyl come from??? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v133/Kurgan777/SUBsticker2.jpg
  14. Just a question, does this mean the Carrera GT won't be shifted off-center or twisted like some of the other recent conversions? Also, is there any chance those other off-center cars could be fixed and centered once the camera mod comes out?
  15. I tried the Ascari but the handling was a bit too "loose" for my tastes, it always felt like the back end was just a hair away from slipping out. I ultimately ended up putting it on the Mustang GTR and using one of Reilss' Sagaris sounds, it sounds like an angry open-exhaust racing V8. Then I took the Mustang GTR and put it on the Saleen S281SC so I wouldn't lose the Mustang.
  16. Since when is that the fastest car in the world??? The Bugatti Veyron holds the top speed record, and the Ultima GTR holds multiple acceleration and deceleration records.
  17. No, it wouldn't. In just 2 minutes I found no less than 4 high quality original BeetleBugs complete with at least 4 different interiors. One of them is even a BajaBug with a fully detailed engine sticking out the back. Another one is Herbie. At least 3 of those bugs comes with a readme containing information on how to contact the original authors and get permission to convert it to another game. Then try the Dino, the 300-SL, or maybe even the Elise since BeetleBugs have tons of tuning parts available that make them handle well and rather fast to boot.
  18. It uses the Tuscan rims.
  19. The CLK-GTR has a bad driver's view, a decent hood view, and was more off-center than any other bodyswap. The McLaren's are a no-go for driver's views, and the hood views are sunken halfway through the hood on all three of them. My top recommendations for bodyswaps are.... Mustang GTR Concept (this is the car it should've gone on in the first place) Zonda Roadster Maserati MC-12 Ferrari 575 Ferrari 612 Jag XKR Those are the only ones I've found so far that have both a decent driver's view and a good hood view. I can list more, but it would depend on which view you like to use. If you use the exterior views, you can use whatever you want as long as you can stand the off-center twist and the potential floating rim bugs that show up if you use the rims that came with the car. If you use primarily driver's view.... Chrysler FirePower Ford GR-1 McLaren Mercedes SLR TVR Sagaris TVR 440-R TVR Tuscan Aston Martin Vanquish Both Vipers Both VW W-12's If you use primarily the hood view.... Holden Effigy Mercedes CLK-GTR Aston Martin DB7 Zagato Edonis Saleen S7TT VW W-12 Coupe Jaguar XJ-220
  20. Knock off the arrogance Reaper, you did it to vincentswe95 and now you're doing it to Torque, are you that afraid of the competition that you have to try to destroy them before they get started???
  21. You might have an easier time trying to convert the one in Juiced 2, it's already got a full interior.
  22. Sorry but this car proves that working on more than one conversion at a time is a really bad idea. Plus that whole "Bugs:none known" thing needs to be left off until it's proven that there really aren't any bugs, or at the very least, change it when the bugs are made known. This car is more off-center than any other car before it, it's shifted and twisted to the left side of the screen. Catering just to the driver's view by twisting and shifting the car itself is a really bad idea because it screws up the rest of the views. It's got a shadow bug that cuts off the shadow just a few inches outside of the car. The Passenger position dummy is obviously missing because the passenger position is totally random, the passenger is sometimes ghosting through the engine, sitting on the driver's lap, ghosting through the car doors, and sometimes up to 50 feet in the air!!! You may not be picking up passengers in a fulltime racecar, but it's still a stupid bug to have, especially since this car has to replace a street car ingame. I tried the Sagaris first obviously, it's shifted and twisted left, and the hood view is really bad, it's into the cockpit and too low, the shadow cuts off less than 6 inches outside the perimeter of the car, and the passenger is fused with the driver's door. Here's every car that I tested.... Aston Martin V8 Vantage Merc CLK GTR DB7 Zagato Edonis Ferrari 575 Ferrari 612 Chrysler Firepower TVR Sagaris TVR 440-R TVR Tuscan Saleen S7 TT Ford GR-1 McLaren Merc SLR Spyker Coupe Aston Martin Vanquish Viper Viper Coupe W-12 Coupe W-12 Roadster Jag XJ-220 Jag XKR I tried all those cars, and only three stood out as better alternatives than the Sagaris, the Ferrari 575 and 612, and the Jag XKR. Those three had both a good driver's view and a good hood view. All the rest of the 21 total cars that I tried had either a bad driver's view, or a bad hood view, and some were even more off-center than others.
  23. Seatbelt bugs can appear without passengers, which is why we need a way to either delete the seatbelts, or make them invisible.
  24. What do you not understand? I just let you know that the car you want has already been modeled and textured. It's fairly high poly at 30,000, which does not include the extra damage models for GTA-SA. To give you an idea of how detailed that is, the Ferrari Dino in TDU is less than 7000 polys. There's also a Convertible version of the car, with the top up, and down, which opens up even more possibilities. Now, if you download one of those GTA-SA cars, it's got a Readme file with it, and inside that readme file is information on how to contact the original modeler named Burner. If you ask him nicely, and agree to give him proper credits for the model, I'm sure he wouldn't have much of a problem allowing it to be converted to TDU, especially seeing that he already allowed it to be in GTA-SA. Then you just need to find someone to convert the car for you.
  25. If you can find the original author of these models.... http://gta-worldmods.t-n-network.de/phpkit/start/include.php?path=content/download.php&contentid=4213 http://gta-worldmods.t-n-network.de/phpkit/start/include.php?path=content/download.php&contentid=4212 I'm sure he would give permission for them to be converted to TDU as long as he was properly credited and you asked nicely.
