Tool831: 2008 Shelby Mustang GT500KR Edition V1.1
Kurgan777 replied to Tool831's topic in Vehicle Mods
I already have the 1969 Mustang Mach-I on the regular GT, and it's not getting removed. Actually you DID get that issue when the car was still in WIP, your own picture proved it, the WIP pic you posted that still had the little piece of window trim floating in mid-air, it also had the 3rd rim bug on the Saleen, and that rim bug doesn't happen on the regular Mustang GT on the level 3 tuneup . . . Here's what happens when you do that.... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v133/Kurgan777/RimBugsResized.jpg On the left is the rims on the Saleen when you buy the FIRST rim option on the Mustang GT. On the right is the rims on the Saleen when you buy any OTHER rim options on the Mustang GT. By the way, this bug also exists on the Alpha GT, buying the first set of rims gets the proper sized rims and tires on the upgraded car, but buy any other rims and the upgraded car gets bugged up rims. The 350-Z also has the same bug with no way to fix it on the upgraded car because there's only one rim choice. Buy the 350-Z and upgrade it and look at the bugged up rims, 19inch rims floating inside a 17inch tire looks really bad. -

Me asking for a way to fix it "on my end" means BY MYSELF ON MY OWN MACHINE. And I said that I don't like the way the default Saleen rims look on the GT-500 KR, even though they do work properly on the 19 inch tires. This should have been perfectly clear. Oh and the rims aren't exactly a "little bug that can be ignored", the extra polygons in the headlights fall into that category, but not the floating rims, which you can see every time you pull into and out of a house, car dealership, or paint shop in the game. You can also see them plain as day in tail-cam when drifting when you can see daylight between the rim and tire..... I don't use the cockpit cam either unless I'm driving the McLaren F-1 or the Caterham, if I'm driving just to mess around I use the tail cam, if I'm racing I use the hood cam. -

I asked for a way to FIX IT MYSELF, if some of you would bother to READ you could figure that out...... -

The bugs don't occur with any other rims from any other car, only the ones that Tool included with the mod. Point of FACT, the bug is in the game itself, if you buy the Mustang GT, and choose the 2nd or 3rd rims, the rims will come out BUGGED UP once you upgrade to the Saleen. However, if you choose the FIRST rim set when you buy the Mustang, then upgrade to the Saleen, the rims work perfectly. Now, when you install the mod, and choose the first rim set, it gets bugged up with the floating rims, indicating that the bug is in the RIMS, not the car mod. And for the LAST TIME some of us already HAVE mods on these cars which we refuse to remove, so bodyswaps are the only choice. Besides which, this IS the GT-500 KR, it's a 500+ horsepower car in real life, so putting it on the Mustang GT, which is limited to 360HP in the game on a level 3 tuneup, isn't exactly realistic..... -

There's a bug in the SVT rims that came with the car when you put the car on the S281E. The rims float in the middle of the tires when you buy the Mustang GT with the first rim choice like you're supposed to, then upgrade it to the S281E. If you buy the Mustang GT with the other rim choices, the rims just look fat-tired when you upgrade to the Saleen. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v133/Kurgan777/ShelbyRimBug.jpg I'd like to use the proper SVT rims, so is there any way that could be fixed on my end? Right now I'm using the default Saleen S281 rims, and they fit the tires properly, but I don't really care for the way they look. -
1. Make sure you're comparing cars from the same model year... 2. You better check ZModeler2 about the whole "wheels not 3-D" thing.... 3. EA's already redone the car several times in NFS Most Wanted, Carbon and Pro Street. 4. Most of the visual differences from the ingame model and your photo could be just from the angle of the picture, or your crappy ingame resolution.

Where did those rims on the Blue Veilside come from??? -

I tested out all three versions of the Spykers, and the driver's cam could be fixed by the ingame seat position options. The only real problem with the Spykers is the hood cam, it's too low. -

This one earns the title of "Most Body-Swappable", I tried every version so far except for the Veilside kit (it wasn't up yet), and tested them all on lots of different cars and the only things I found were attributable to the bodyswapping, and easily fixed (driver's cam) or ignored (driver's leg bugs). Aston Martin DB-7 Zagato (driver's knees ghost thru steering wheel) Aston Martin Vanquish S (driver's knees ghost thru steering wheel) Dodge Viper Roadster (Headless Driver in interior view, can see ground under hood in interior view, the hood view is fine) Ferrari 575 (Driver is missing a leg!) Ferrari 612 (driver's knees bent sideways) Maserati GranSport (driver's knees bent sideways) Maserati GranSport 90th (driver's knees bent sideways, seatbelts end out the left window a little bit) Maserati Spyder CambioCorsa (driver's knees bent sideways) Spyker Coupe (Hood cam is a bit low) Spyker Roadster (Hood cam is a bit low, seatbelts choke driver) Spyker Roadster Turbo (Hood cam is a bit low) TVR Tuscan (Hood cam is too far back) TVR 440-R (Hood cam is too far back, interior pieces block hood view) TVR Sagaris (driver's legs crossed, hood cam back too far) VW W-12 Coupe (Very low ride height, Granny Cam :D) VW W-12 Roadster (Super low ride height, tires ghost through the body, Granny Cam :D) The Granny Cam is where you have to look through the steering wheel in the driver's view :D Maybe wait for a good version of the AE-86 for the E-Type, it's nice and drifty and the speed is decent when tuned. There's also the Celica GT-Four that's been done, you could put that on one of the XK's and leave the other as the MR-S. Either way you could change the entire Jaguar lineup to Toyota cars. -

The Veilside Fortune works just fine on the Ford Cobra Concept or the Alpha 8C. -
Didn't Saladine already make one???

The car is off-center and twisted again, this time the back of the car is twisted off to the left. And the passenger is off the seat again. And yes before anybodystarts to rip into me, this was on the Lotus Esprit V8 and it happens on all the versions of the car, I haven't tried any body swaps yet. -
They're only making 6 of these, and two are already pre-sold, I hate it when they do that.....I've heard of limited editions before, but that's just ridiculous...... 2009 Daytona Coupe Le Mans Edition This one should be simple. The car body already exists, the rims are already done. Just add the fender flares, make the rims bigger in diameter and wider (dished inward for the rear rim), and the car stance wider. Put it on the Ford GR-1 or Cobra Concept since it needs to be much faster and handle better than the old Daytona Cobra. Maybe the Ford GT slot would work if it doesn't screw up the camera views too much. Other options would be the Ferrari 575 or 612 slots since they all have the same basic long-nosed-short-tailed body shape.

Evo 8, converted by Reaper, you can see engine parts through the hood. And it's called Chrome.... -
There's a bunch of Scania trucks made for GTA-SA, find and convert, maybe for the utility truck.

Just rename the files to whatever other car you want to replace, just keep in mind that the driver's view and hood view are tied to the ORIGINAL car, not the replacement. -

Believe me, the typical "ricer" seen in the USA has absolutely NOTHING on the true Japanese variant..... Yes those are exhaust pipes coming out the back of the car....and FIFTEEN FEET up into the air...... -
There's obviously something that's already been done because I've seen people posting screenshots with non-default trucks in them.
-
I either blast past them at 200+mph or try to run them off the road, it's more fun with them in the game :D

wip Tard666Evil: Nismo Skyline R34 Z-tune(first pic)
Kurgan777 replied to Tard666Evil's topic in TDU - Support
R-34 GTR Z-Tune... 500 horsepower RB26DETT, twin turbo 2.6 liter 6 cylinder 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO... 300 horsepower, 3 liter V-12 with open exhaust (no cats, no mufflers) They sound nothing like eachother..... Skepsis' new Skyline sound is a better match for the ZTune than a Ferrari 250 GTO sound.... -
How can you make cars paintable at the custom car paint
Kurgan777 replied to Shy Guy's topic in Car Customization Mods
Or you could just install a very simple mod that allows ANY car to be painted at the custom paint shop.... http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=10556
