    That's the only working option that I'm aware of for the game, aside from putting in the original disc. I suspect this is why it's not working for him.

    No CD patch? It's not a patch. You can't run the game with a modified EXE if that's what you're doing.

    And just to confirm, you're using either the original EXE + original DVD, or the original EXE + no-DVD image, right?

    Is your copy of Windows 10 a clean install or did it come with a pre-built PC that may have some bloatware installed?

    You can set OBS to record in MP4. It can also look better than the Windows 10 game recorder depending on your settings. There are so many settings to play with.

    It's also important to be zoomed in pretty far into the map for more players to be shown.

    If a group is already maxed out at 8 players then you won't be able to connect to them. If that's not what's happening, then I'm not sure why.
