    I have the cable and a disc just not the propper disc. Theres cheats etc on it aswell so im going to try borrow a mates disc.

    Ile try get hold of a mates. Will my cable be ok because I have transfered data to the pc from the 20Gb HDD. However the dats has just been copied as its also still on the HDD itself :D

    The cable itself has the offical microsoft name on it. Would I be able to borrow the offical CD of a mate and just use my cable?

    Oki, thank you. I put the CD into the pc and there is a xbox360installer etc which I put onto my pc (installed) now I have my 20GB backed up anyway :D I have no instructions. I got it from an ebay shop so ile message him ~thanks

    I just recieved my data transfer kit. I plug it in via the rear usb port on my xbox and plug my 60GB HDD in whilst my 20GB HDD is on the XBOX itself. I put the CD in and it says "mixed media" and wont allow me to select "A". Can I transfer the data from the 20GB HDD to the 60GB HDD via pc? ~Thank you
