  1. I'd love to see all those things such as weather, working windscreen wipers, cars cetting dirty / working carwash. Basically I agree with all of the suggestions at the first post. I guess this list has already been sent to the developers? (didn't read through each page of this thread). Anyways, if I would have to choose 2 ideas, they would be these: 1) Fuel consumption. It would be nice to have the need to refuel the car once in a while at fuel station. If you would run out of fuel, you'd need to get it towed to the nearest fuel station (with appropriate charge of course). 2) Damage. I think there should be more consequence of collisions. If your car gets damaged, you need to take it to repair shop for fixing, and it would cost. If it get's seriously damaged, you'd need to call a tow truck to take it to the repair shop. If there is more consequence of collisions, people would drive more carefully in online sessions. Maybe for this you'd need two separate online sessions. Everyone who have chosen "arcade" mode without damage would be driving together in one session, and those who have chosen "realistic" mode would be driving together in another session. In this way everyone would get what they want. To make it possible for people to refuel and fix cars when they are out of money, there should be some way to earn money even when all cars are out of fuel or broken (maybe some challenges like working as a taxi driver). EDIT: By the way, one thing I haven't seen mentioned are the huge arcade-like challenge indicators in the game world. I'd really like those to be removed. They can sometimes kill the realistic atmosphere in the game. Perhaps they could show on the GPS only?
  2. Hi, I'm Osmo from Finland. I'm 28 years old and I mostly play PC simulation games (such as IL-2 Sturmovik, ArmA, Richard Burns Rally, etc), but since I saw TDU first time about a year ago I really wanted to play this game. A few weeks ago I bought the game and Logitech G25 racing wheel and I have to say the game is quite amazing. Even though the game might not have perfect car physics etc, they are still pretty good. Some arcade features of the game do annoy me, such as the huge signs that you see when you approach a challenge (I wish they had implemented it in some other way), but the other features like the huge area where you can drive anywhere, traffic, and nicely implemented online play really make this game good. I hope in TDU2 they have introduced even more realism to the game. In addition to having fuel consumption, I'd really like to see cars breaking up when they collide so that there would be some consequence of driving like insane. If it would cost to fix the car (and tow it away if it's too badly damaged), it would make people drive more carefully online, and increase the realism. BTW, I used to play the first Test Drive games by Accolade long time ago, Test Drive 1, 2 and 3.
  3. I love all the ideas of the initial post. Any ideas that make the game more realistic are always good. I especially think it would be great to have: - Police available online and everyone seeing it - Police stopping from speeding and other things mentioned (driving on wrong side etc) - Damage model and having to take the car for a repair. If car is too damaged, then a tow truck would take it to repair (it would cost) - Fuel consumption, and the need to refuel at fuel station.
