did anyone else notice the track-like looking thing on the map?? not sure if its a track a valley or a town but judging by the size of what looks to be the roads compared to the rest of the roads it looks like a track http://img683.imageshack.us/img683/9141/pcg22af0rtrack.jpg -

most likely theres no repair screen that you have to pay to fix the damages done it just does it for you -
ya before I went a few years ago to the big diesel event here I didn't know about these diesels either they are just torque monsters i wish europe had an event like the august black-out we have here just to experience the raw poower of these monsters, like what other vehicle for under 50grand can u get over 600lb-ft of torque and with not much more than a reprogram and a little top end work its crazy the massive amounts of power that a diesel can make (800hp+ and 1200lb-ft+ easy) now how is watching a full sized diesel truck going down the strip like this not entertaining?? everyone always things o its only a diesel just for towing why would I want one of those, well this and the fact that our full sized one ton truck almost makes as good of mileage as my little eclipse is a ton more fun to drive and can still hook onto our 28' trailer and tow it like nothing is why I love em I guess what I'm saying is they're very functional, practical, torque monsters that are something that I can dream of owning/doing one day unlike any of these exotic vehicles that would never last on the roads around here
-
ya but that wasnt just around the island there was a little more driving i think u go through some towns and cities and go off-route for quite a few miles during it its not completely around the outside highway like the island tour i think its called which if im not mistaken u got gold for doing in 40-45mins

Joypad TDU2 Preview (French) *Wealth of info and pics!*
Firecatman replied to Eudemon's topic in Driving & Racing Games
nice looks better and better every time there's more news except the absence of muscle cars, which I know should come eventually, and trucks (and yes i know this is just the start of the info) BTW the reflections on the ground on the McLaren picture look amazing -
good old reliable 5.9 gotta love em:drool: the only light truck engine manufacture that knows the only way to make torque is making a inline
-
E3 again???? lol
-
u mean a diablo smart? those things are crazy
-
you obviously havent seen real diesels then diesels (especially 5.9 cummins) with 700hp+ is commonplace around here in the quarter its really easy to find 10-11 second full sized diesel trucks every august theres a huge diesel event at the local track (biggest one in the world i think) and its awesome to see how fast some of these trucks go
-
and why wouldnt you want to i think that kinda ruins the fun of having off-road vehicles in a game like this whats not to like about taking a big diesel or off-road buggy on the street and smokin some exotics in a drag race and my wish list of vehicles off the top of my head '49-'68 CJ '68-'69 Barracuda fastback '68-'69 Javelin '69 Charger '69 Roadrunner '69 Sport Fury '69 AMX '69 Super Bee '70 Superbird '70 Challenger '71 Roadrunner '71 Duster '71 'Cuda '87-'06 TJ/YJ '92-'94 DSM (Laser, Talon, Eclipse) '95 Stealth/GTO '99 Prowler '05 Neon/SX2.0 SRT-4 '06 Ram SRT-10 '07 Ram 3500 5.9L '10 Viper ACR/ACR-X '10 Ram 3500 6.7L '11 Grand Cherokee

A jeep TJ/YJ with a 4L a power wagon (new and/or old) and diesel trucks would love to see the black smoke bellowing out of a 5.9 in a ram with huge stacks but i kinda doubt thats gunna happen:crying:

Firecatman replied to Andreas¹'s topic in Driving & Racing Games
awesome more news more dodges too bad its not the 2011 charger thatll hopefully have the 392 (although I might not be saying that when its shown uncamod) -
would be awesome says new vehicle classes too not sure what else it could be besides maybe trucks and SUVs which could also be for offroading
-
ya we did a few in TDU 1 but there wasent quite enough roads in the northern 3/4 of the map to make it challenging and only 8 player servers really limited the amount of teams we had was fun though
-
that would be awesome especially if you could make a custom race to do that with for cannonball runs and bullruns

Midnight Club LA...The Forgotten TDU 2 ?
Firecatman replied to x CrYpToN IcE's topic in Driving & Racing Games
ya it was fun for the first little bit but now if u try and go online all u ever see is sky-high vehicles with 30"+ rims and Taco Time written all over them and it turns into a demo derby -
i hope so there wasnt much chrysler product in the first especially new stuff good to see they still got the license after the Fiat deal
-
it does say "All-new race types, vehicle classes...." which could mean SUVs they were just announcing the game today not telling us everything about it
-
thats awesome news cant wait wonder if there'll be a E3 demo again like the first??? lol
