  1. I have no idea how to merge interiors mate, but no doubt once I've learnt how, I'll take the interior from the Forza Diablo SV. ;)

However, I've downloaded Zmod 2 and I keep getting "side by side configuration errors" every time I try to open it? I've looked around online and it said to install 'Microsoft Visual C++ 2005', which I've done and it still returns the same error. :eyebrow:

  2. Well, some more slots have just opened up in my Hawaii. Three legendary sports cars from Japan, each of them as different as you get.

The Acura NSX, well Hawaii is technically America right? :D 3 Liter V6 naturally aspirated and developed with the late Ayrton Senna (RIP).

The Mazda RX-7, only 3 cylinders but boy does it sound good! 255hp of pure dragstrip madness, but in the corners too it's a marvel. :)

The Toyota Supra, because without it TDU would not be complete. Combat's absolute favourite car and why would you disagree? Looks good, sounds good , need I say more... Also seen with a certain Paul Walker, may he R.I.P. too. If you haven't watched Furious 7, I strongly recommend you do.

  3. Perhaps your good friend, acevt06, cam lend a hand? We know that his sounds (in particular Supra, R34, and any of his muscle V8's to name some examples) can be quite lifelike and monstrously aggressive. A phrase that goes very well with the 'Widowmaker' 997 GT2. I think I now have another must have Porsche to add to my collection. Thanks Combat! :)

  4. @Krisman10

Your game is The Need for speed ? first one ? :p All three cars are in B class ? ;)

    Thanks NFS Wikia :D

Well Done! :) It is the very 1st NFS from 1994, never played the game but it came out when I was only just brought into the world, so it is a special game nonetheless. Eventually my goal is to get as many cars on their own slots from the first 6 games.

Won't be able to find many cars from Underground onwards, because modded versions would be needed for every car. And also vinyls are missing too.

They may be in B Class in TNFS, but they are definitely in C in my TDU. :) Viper is easily the fastest from 0-100km/h, Corvette can do well over 180mph and the Porsche absolutely creams them both through the corners. Trust me there would be no way can these three keep up with the Atari B Class. Those are 200+ mph cars that will leave them for dust! The car I had problems with was the 512TR and I have started work on the RX-7.

Eventually I'll get around to converting the Diablo VT from Driver:SF as that is the best model of the car. Supra will obviously be Combat's as there no other Supra that beats it in quality, and LHD so no camera tricks needed. And then finally the NSX, seeing as there is a nice quality Acura model by Miha. :)

I started on the RX-7 today, everything is all sorted in the database and all, physics are done too. But it's not showing in game. I think this is to do with the Mazda brand. I added the logos in from 1.68 and completed the Mazda entry in the database but it's still not there. :|

  5. Yep, I know what the problem was. Somehow in the database the car got reset to the RUF RGT, which of course I don't have the megapack so it doesn't exist in my game. Hence the DEFAULT CAR look. However I've fixed it by going back into the Database and re-assigning everything unique to the 911. (Sound, Guages, Rims, Car files) and now it's back to normal. :) And I might have a solution to the other car I had problems with. Basically I'm going to name it differently to the Atari version but it will still use a duplicate of that slot. If I'm right the car should appear. :)

  6. Well everyone, got some more slots ingame. :) Surely with these two in-game you can guess the game I'm recreating. Tob-racer was close with NFS5, but look at when I said about the year to do with the 993. That'll give you a clue. ;)

Note: The bottom car is meant to be a Viper RT/10, but we only have the GTS so I did some physics for that to make it drive like an RT/10. Same with the Corvette, it's actually a ZR-1, but we only have the Grand Sport. Both do look awesome! Thanks to Miha for the cars, acevt06 for the Vette sounds, Doctor G for the Viper sounds, and anybody else who I've used their stuff along the way. :)

Also, patching these into the game went much quicker, did them both together and at the same time, than the 911, which has now changed into that VW Passat looking car? Just when things were looking good. :\

  7. Congrats on your 993 !!

I would assume you could just copy and paste the line of code from your 993, just be sure to change the Car REF # and Car ID #, same for the rims. Then just copy the resource from your 993 in the TDUMT xml and paste it, then rename the 993 you pasted to your new car. I don't really think it matters if you have the Atari Megapack or not, maybe Tob can chime in on this as well. ;)

That's what I did that with my Pagani's and COMB@T's Supras, it worked fine. :nods:

    Good luck Krisman !! :happyroll:

    I'll try. :)

Thing is though like I said, everything for the car is there, thanks to Atari. Minus the gauges but that can be sorted easily. And all I did was "replace" it with a Forza model of the same car, then fixed it in with TDUF and it still doesn't show up in the dealer next to the 911. So what I will do is move on and bring 2 cars on new slots, it'd be best to do these next 2 together, because they are bitter rivals and have another go with the troubled car later. :)

  8. Well good news and bad news. Thanks to you both, my 993 now has paint colours. :)

However, my next slot I can't show because a) it would give the game away and b) it's not working. Basically it uses a MegaPack slot and like I said before I don't have it. :( Yet the 993 got duplicated from a MegaPack car and works 100% flawlessly? I didn't follow the tutorial for this one because all I did was replace the original Atari model with a better Forza one by Miha. But because the original stuff isn't there I basically added it and with TDUF inserted them into TDU.
