@Ascari- Not likely, theres a lot less stuff going on in forza 3, here you'll have basically a single gigantic map with a whole load of scripts running and weather effects and dynamic daytime/nighttime cycles- i really doubt it will be able to even run at forza 3 graphics. Disapointing i know, but it will own forza 3 anyway :)

Im a sucker for graphics... Im starting to get past that though, and now i think about it, i kinda have already- i still play r6 vegas/2, tdu, oblivion (although, that game does have some spectacular lighting effects early morning/late afternoon, up in the mountains...). I just hope they can get a good mix of better-than-tdu1-graphics, and better-than-tdu1-physics. I dont want the game to look as good as forza or gt, its just not possible without completely comprimising the gameplay. Higher poly interiors would be nice. And as others have said, a less dead environment. People in the streets of the cities, that manage to jump out of the way if your on the pavement, and DONT jump in front of your car from the pavement like in gta4 ;)

yeah, killjoy, speculation and hype is half the fun! the other half is when you get it! then half the disapointment is that this fun time of speculation and hype is over. the other half of course being that most of the speculated stuff didnt happen :P

I like the idea of storing race cars at a track. Maybe that could spread to racing bikes (im not a "bike guy" but that would be fun) and rally cars/buggies at off road trails. (so you cant take a buggy anywhere except off road)

Wow :D Woah that interceptor concept is horrifyingly ugly :P edit: just saw the episode of top gear with the lancia's and the caravan airship, and i now have to add lancia to the list- would it not be the most awesome experience ever to take a stratos through a foresty mountainy road, then just hang a left at a trail, and go off roading in it? (dont take this as ive never heard of lancia's, they just arent popular enough to remember :P)

I, for one, hope by "car equipments", it could mean either licensed, or fake gps things. So you can turn the hud off and buy a gps to put in your car, i just think that would be cool, being able to use everything in your car as a hud (if your using cockpit view, which i most certainly will be). Also a "functioning" cd player would be cool, lol.

I hope this game doesnt focus too much on customization... too much and it could end up being Midnight Club Ibiza... (im playing MC LA, and although its fun, its easy to accidently bling out anything... luckily i like my volk, BBS and work rims ;) ) (just in response to the SUV'S, it would be cool, but only if you cant be a gankstah wif twenny fo's and airbags)

Oh yeah true crime 2 is looking amazing, compared to "streets of LA" or whatever it was... I think im going to be pre ordering that, f1 2010, tdu2 (...), and there was something else... or maybe it was tdu2... anywho, those 3 at least, massively awesome games year coming up by the looks of it. edit: OF COURSE, the new medal of honour! going down call of duty's path, modern one. Only this will KILL modern warefare and modern warefare 2. :D

that is some fantastic news there viltsua, nice to see some definitive statements :D (like offroading, rain, night, Ibiza). It would be interesting to find out what they mean by "money for drifts etc"... Like, you drift around a corner, and you get 1000 dollars instantly or something? Or maybe extra money at the end of a race? edit: forgot about petrol consumption etc, i would be kinda disapointed if they didnt include it... Would be really hard to do it well though i spose... Theres a first time for everything though, right?! (on that, has there been a game yet with petrol stations? obviously sims have petrol, but its not the same)
