As MB-knower and fanboy I can't stand to add this :p : I think the SLS would be a better sportscar than the 300SL, it's also a competitor for the R8. And for Luxury, well there's enough choise. The SLK55 Black Series could go against the TT-RS, or you could opt for the E63 AMG (W212 and S212) which is a direct competitor for the M5. The bottom line of the whole BMW story, they fit in just as much/little as Audi and Merc do. Imo BMW would be even better since all Audi's of today look too much the same.

Worse. We are at a point that there are so many cars still to announce, that the game can be delayed for another whole month if we want to get 1 car per day, until releaseday. We know roughly 40 cars now and in the ''worst'' case TDU2 has around 170 cars, making 130 cars still to be announced. September ain't that far away anymore, 3 months, which is roughly 90 days. And if you wonder what might be the ''best case scenario'', Gamespot said once there weren't 170 but 208 cars, making even more cars available.

There are 2 wrecks. The ingame stats showed 20 wrecks to discover.

I am quite sure it will. They had 3 types of last-generation Corvette's, so another one should be fine. It's the top of the range Vette, so it should be in.

There's absolutely no news in it that we don't know, it's a quick repeating about the social aspects, detailed cars, offroad vehicles and clubrelated info we already know. Ye but those might include like dozens of cars that could get deleted due to license issues, ending up with roughly the same amount. I say it once again, it's an odd case they apparently made the game first, and focussed on the main stars of the show only at the last moment.

Sounds like no news unfortunately. I'm getting more and more negative about hearing the cars and the amount of cars will be the same as in TDU1. It's odd, especially since like 60% of the voters chose A New Ride as most wished-for feature for TDU2 on the official TDU2.com site...

To put it like this: Google can't match the human knowledge of reasonable grammar and correct word definitions. :p Isn't it quite odd btw that there's a big month difference between releasedates for Germany, and UK and France?

But then they at least can treat those people to a bigger sudden intro of news than what we had, because then the people who already knew that stuff will also get some new bits of info. Win/win. Imo they should have shown more stuff, if everything goes according to plan there's no next E3 before TDU2's launch, and considering it has to be in development for at least a year or so, they could have shown us some more stuff on E3.

@HGenXE: That doesn't mean a lot. The X5 was perhaps modelled before TDU1 even had to be released, and that's around 4 years ago. IF they would have had a license for BMW, or plans to, they would have expired a long time ago. @Acid: Golfs belong to the same class, at an even worse degree, but there was a Golf in TDU1, so who knows :P Also, as much as I hate to say this, BMW is not the only one with such kind of people owning them. Here in Holland, Mercedes is always associated with pimps, turkish people and taxi's (BMW/Audi fanboys mean taxi as bad thing). I don't know about pimps, but it's true that a lot of turkish people drive older mercs, mainly E-Classes of the late 80's/early 90's, and it is a fact that perhaps over 50% of all taxi's in this country are E-Classes. Thinking this way, Merc then also shouldn't be in, but it is. My opinion about BMW, well, it's not my favorite brand, especially not with the current designs, but I don't hate them. I wouldn't mind them being in, but I can live without them.

I believe Gemballa stopped all its activities due to loads of things, including the sudden disappearance of Uwe Gemballa. So I don't know how likely it'll be to see Gemballa's.

I also want my favorite cars to be ingame, but that doesn't mean they'll put them in. Infact I still expect a bad line-up for my favorite brand, but what can we do about it? Either we should pay the licenses for Eden, or we should wait for modding, those are I think the only ways we can have such big influences. That would be awesome if Eden actually implemented staged animations, it's not just a simple pop-up, but if I remember correct it pop's up, then one of the blades tilts a bit, and all happens perhaps a second time. I hope they won't put all versions in, the Bugatti Veyron has been cloned too often, most of the times only with other paintjobs and rims. Plus, now the Veyron is in, I hope the EB110GT will be in :D

Could be, I prefer Euro-spec everywhere though. I don't want to get fined on Oahu just for driving around with decent looking headlights, bumpers, and no reflectors.
