I think I can say that gaming has affected the lives of us in a good way. But I think that the gaming has gotten WORSE over the years. Here's why. First, greed. Now that money in the industry has taken shape, I've seen developers have sold out quality for cold cash. *cough MW2 cough" Second, graphics. Why are we putting a big emphasis on eye candy? Graphics NEVER make games good. Gameplay does. Third, is innovation. Innovation is good, but this console generation, its becoming too much. You don't need a gamechanging mechanic to make a game good. *And before I get people posting "Why play games?" This is MY opinion.*
