    Maybe helps this: go to: C:\Users\*USERNAME*\AppData\Local\i-Knyazev.ru\TDU2\Universal Launcher\v3 and delete Settings.xml file. If you have steam-version of the game: Go to the game folder and rename steamUL.dll file to steam.dll (something in Windows is blocking the renaming of this file)

    I think, it's problem with TestDrive2.exe file. In future I want create the new version of the Launcher with support the Online Mode.

    Patch server of TDU2 now works fine! link - http://patchserver.testdriveunlimited2.com/ (you can ping it) You can download game updates via original UpLauncher.exe But now I works with new launcher for TDU2 with checking & update game to the latest version of the game (if official patch server will be offline, I'll make the alternative patch server (mirror). Why? for TDU2 online)

    Hello. Go to folder: C:\Users\*YOUR_USERNAME*\AppData\Local\i-Knyazev.ru\TDU2 and delete the folder "Universal Launcher" and then start the Universal Launcher.

    Funny thing: this bug (with CPU loading after launching the game) was only with Intel CPU's. About new launcher: New Universal Light Launcher (NULL) ( NULL - brief about Atari :-D ) Mix of Light Launcher (fastest work speed) and Universal Launcher (many functional) + some new features.

    Try to rename UL_steam_api.dll to __UL_steam_api.dll for example. This file you can find in the game folder. Now I work with new version (v4.0) of the Universal Launcher.

    Thanks for the info. Hmm. Launcher (with GUI) and console app uses same function to launching the game.

    Hello. Okay) Thanks for the bug-report. I'll try to fix this issue after testing by me) Now I use Windows 8.1 Pro (6.3.9600.16422) x64 / Win8.1 RTM 01:57 AM Hmm. Very strange. v3.3 works fine on my PC. (I can use only offline mode of the game) I'll try to use ogirinal C# code from UpLauncher.
