Ok,found this by pure luck!Here are many good recordings of nice cars made by "pros" Hope it will help you guys to make good sounds!It has over 60 cars all videos are recorded whit startup!No wind in recordings,but on some u can hear that mic is to close to exthaus and it will ruin the sound a bit...But trust me,these are best u can get! My bad Ok,my bad...Lets do it like this,send me a few samples u want to place in game and il see what i can do,if u dont like it we can just forget this ever happened...I will work one them until i fully finish,no 1 min job :) I know time will not stop and time is what we dont have...but we all need it! It is always trial and error,i learn as i go,as everyone else!

*facepalm* I will do it like you do lol:NOTE:this is just a fast edited sound!Nothing special,no hard work...It will sound like in car whit windos closed(or close to that) but it was not done 4 game,but to show that all other sounds except engine are almoust totaly removed,not just noise!!! It clearly say,just engine,bla bla bla...So,there is no exhaust sound in here and some ohter sounds,like wind,tires noise and litle rocks hiting the bottom part of car...Each sound can be isolated.So lets say that we isolate engine sound,but better,no echo etc,u can add bass,bit of click and crackle in low freq and much more...,than u can implement anythng u want in there!U can record exthaus from outside and add that in the sample etc. etc. etc. I see you limited yourself pretty well:confused: Sry on my English! You know what they say..take it or leave it,what do you have to lose?

1 minute job! Ok,i done this in 1 minute,just to show you guys what u can do...It is far from finished but when u hear the diference...I can also make looping samples that u will not even notice that is looping ;) I use Audacity 1.3 beta,Sound Forge Pro 10(advanced mode,not for beginers..) and couple of more tools that u all have... This samples are from that video above! Maybe the samples are to short or they are ?poluted?(dont know what that word mean lol...erm,they have some other sounds in background etc.)Upload your files and i will see what i can do.I hear it only on mid to hig range...

Try as already someone wrote... 1.Change keyboard and culture language to english 2.Download mod tool again 3.when u open mod tool go to file>settings>game path and save it! (so like this C:\ or D:\ or on what ever partition u have it mine is like this D:\program files\Atari\Test Drive Unlimited\) It would be best to go to desktop and open your Computer and than folow and read where u go and make sure it is SAME as in settings in mod tool! and it is \ not / 4.I dont know if that have anything whit anything but i downloaded NET framework 4 and i solved my problem whit errors... 5.Check if u have all files needed posted in older post,there is 3-4 so it won`t be to hard,i have no time to chek them again,sry.

Stupid question...but important to me lol,did u notice any major fps drops whit add?Some of us use not so powerfull machines...I have done and tried tons of mods(not for TDU yet :P),and it always have a fps drop:(

:thumbsup:First i wan`t to say THANK YOU!THANK YOU ALL cause TDU is soooo much beter cause of you guys and your hard work!:thumbsup: I am 24 years old,and i come from Croatia.I am interested in playng all type of sim racing and good "semi-sim" racing,flyng,shooting etc games...I tryed to make all kind of mods 4 all type of games,and i am tryng really hard to learn and help in every section that i can...In real life,i did drive almoust all cars that you could ever dream off!I have learn one big thing from racing games,and that is that in RL there is NO RESTART button!!!I crashed my e30 323i(bit moded:p) and i can thank God i am still alive...I am waiting for my other e30 to arive but that is another story...Well,if u want to know something,just ask!And sorry on my English,correct me when u can!Thx!

Hy all,well...i was watching and laughing almoust 2 hours now nad i must say that Dr. G must be a veeeryyy patient guy,cause i would kick 90% of guys in tha face and quit in no timeXD But ok...Well,i am a huge fan of good sounds in TDU and i must say there is not much that is good enough 4 me,i mean they are good in start but they just don`t make any adrenaline rush when i hear them!So...I would like to help!How?Well,like you all know,in a good mod team (TEAM) everyone is doing something that is good at! So,my side would be this; -watch the video,listen to sound clip(sent by Dr. you,me etc) -see if it is good or not -if it is good enough(no need to be PERFECT as our Dr. says :p) i will try to remove all background noise and make it clear enough 4 mr. Dr. G to work whit... That will help him to get more time 4 his work and it will help me to enjoy more in sweet sounds :twisted: Why dont i make sound 4 a car? Well,i just dont... So,if i am not to late Dr. G pm me and we will sort of things!k? And sorry on big post and my alien English lol:chewy:
