the c8 and the r8 are both not DLC, theyre unlockable which is wat u asked for ^ i know cose i have both and i didnt downloaded any new content :p

wats ur gfx card, CPU, how much ram, how many physical hard drives plugged in and how big is ur power supply unit? (shud say on the back near the powercable)

i would really love to know this also sick of it being 14:10 in ibiza every time i start the game, only get a little wihle before night and when i have weather enabled it always rains after like 2 hours ingame :/

im prety sure i read that u have to block the launcher from internet to mod ur game, else it redownloads the original files so i guess, this is for offline only!

no ur right i havent but iv been downloading models of other people for a long long time. and until now i was pretty certain that they dont actualy attain the car itself to model with... modders at least. if developers can swing that, its another shocker to me lol tho i spose it explains how its all so true too life but thinkin... these days id imagine it more likely to just scan the car in some 3d scanner if they can get hold of them all 1 by 1 anyway..?

its worth it dude just try it! install, put ur env settings to med then back to high (dont need to confirm it just left, right, done) and u shud have better frames and if u go thru woods or wherever it looks sooo much better without the whole atmosphere drawing 40ft ahead of u constantly i ruuuule lol

noe but thats kinda the point. what really, really gets to me in games is seeing things appear. i cant be immersed in a game at all if im seeing it draw around me :P id rather hav no shadows at all tbh any ways, its confirmed... im a super genius haha my FPS are up like 30 or sth, a slight lag is now scarce AND i never see a shadow draw :D beter update first post

ok im not to sure about any thin cuz im a bit baked an ive been at it for hours an the problem is inconsistent (sometimes worse some times beter) but any ways i thiiink u need to change env quality to whatever else then back to High every time u start the game for this to work im guessing its due to file check junk or something. or may b im just trippin and its no better but i am seeing a marked improvement any ways i.e. shadows at a distance where they werent before ow also i dont think u can/should use this online unfortunately :< need confirmation XD

i didnt even know there was DLC cars already, but im glad the prices arent much. tho i am not sure about ur figures.... 2-3 months for one car? i dont think so man. im fairly confident i could get a modelling app, learn to use it AND make a true to life ferrari F40 in 3 months. for experienced modellers i am sure it wont take more than a fortnight for a model, maybe a month overall. ill be shocked if ur right anyways :p

i agree with ur reasoning. we dont deserve anything that wasnt promised. however, conversely, making the loyal customers pay extra for content which is already on the discs is a reeeeaaall **** move by atari, IMO. if the DLCs will be models conceived and produced after the release of the game, meaning extra work on their part... IF they cost under £1.00 each, i think that would be reasonable. any greater price or trying to flog things they already made and could have included in the standard game is douchey and out of line to me, and i will be boycotting atari in its entireity should this be the case (i did plan to buy the game provided they fix the damned shadow draw distances)

wouldnt u prefer it even more if they included the DLC cars in the game u already paid for instead? (or put them in a free update) im sorry i just think DLCs are totally bull. especialy that theyve made modding hard on purpose to milk the dlcs

i hope they make mods so fast that they dont even release DLCs :p i freakin hate those things, wat a rip off! its just the next gen way to screw people. make a game, prevent user mods, make all the mods urself and then SELL them to customers THAT BOUGHT THE GAME, for lame prices. next thing u know theyll b charging for patches. unless these DLC cars are 50p each, i say up urs atari ill wait for mods and u all should too. if DLCs dont fail theyll keep doin this! :P

i second this motion. i was disappointed quite a bit actualy that i cant hold clutch and rev up a couple times before overtaking sum 1 the car dependant gearbox thing im sure is wayyy to much work for such tiny benefit that nobody will ever do it tho. i mean, just select diff transmission urself :p but the clutch thing yeah!

tell u what really gets to me... u cant skip the cutscenes??? i just have to sit here and watch that same freakin woman every time doing the cheesy pretend show well, i dont now cuz im not doing career mode. at all. :p
