  1. Surely if you just hook up your wheel it would still work? But you just wouldn't have FFB support. No harm in trying anyway. Here's a 7min gameplay video, couldn't see it any where in this thread.
  2. I've been pretty lucky at the jump only had one incident and that was heading west with a car turning into the junction in front of me after the jump so no time to react while the wheels are in the air. I ran both again today to compare how they work for me. The distance of one loop and from the S-curve to the hairpin is both around the 3 mile mark. Didn't take an exact distance with it being so similar. I've been running it with the V8 Atom, one 10min run of each, once up to full speed you're maxed out at 190/1MPH all the way. Which will help if that percentage of top speed thing is true. On the loop I made 61k, 3 crashes only 1 large loss of 7.5k the other 2 where around the 350 mark. On the longer run I got 90k, 4 crashes 2 large, can't recall the amount lost. Think I'll try another car that can top 200 at some point at see how much it differs.
  3. I gave it a try last night. Works nicely. Though I've started doing it a different way. Firstly as I wasn't running it with anyone so I switched online interactions off. Traffic was more consistent and it wouldn't vanish when the game decided it was time to join a new server. With the added bonus of avoiding Bugatti packs, though the AI like to play chicken at times so I pull onto would you could class as the hard shoulder when one is coming in the opposite direction. As in the photo below, I go further east on the same road and start by the S-curve (black arrow) go west along that road all the way to the hairpin (red arrow) and just pull a u-turn you can do it quick enough without loosing too much FRIM and go back to the S-curve. It's around a 3 mile stretch one way. Easily make 15k each way, if the traffic is playing nice you can get 20k. I found this way to be better for me than going round that smaller section.
  4. Isn't the ability to sell cars going to be in the "soon to be available" DLC/update? Can't remember now was a long time ago that I read the list. :p
  5. Own both and pretend you took it from one island to the other. :(
  6. Gave it a bash last night. At speed its far superior too what I had, predictable and nice stability. For some reason I'm not sure if its a great difference at lower speed, need to try out some more cars instead of just the Atom. :P
  7. I'll be trying it tonight, gold ran out so can't hit the casino to try my luck at poker. So gives me something to do while I await my code. :D Will try to reply later what I think. :)
  8. I'll give these a go at some point too see if they're more enjoyable than my current, as its still a little twitchy at times.
  9. Yeah, the certainly looked better than I was expecting them too. Editing, all I've done is increase contrast as the game doesn't give enough for my liking. :) Here's a few more. -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) --
  10. Platform: Xbox 360 Car/sound Car: Subaru Impreza WRX STI The horn, if you hold down the horn until it makes no sound then go to use it again it's volume is very low, and at time when driving inaudible. I believe this is only on my end and it sounds at normal level to other players. If you are only using short quick blasts the horn volume appears to be fine.
  11. I probably won't ever take enough photo's to have my own thread for posting my photo's. So thought I would start a thread where anyone can drop in some photo's they've snapped and would like to show off without having to start a new thread. A little tip somebody showed me when taking photos. While online and your driving along when you pause the game the car keeps rolling along. If you go into phote mode then you are no longer forced to have the car in the photo. Though the camera does still only position itself around the area the car was at time of pausing. But it may be useful for some people who don't want their car in frame. I've just got 7 to post for now I have others will check later to see if any are worth posting. -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) --
  12. When discovering roads: the Subaru if I'm going between on and off road sections. Through the city/highway's the Atom V8 General going abouts RUF RGT. :D
  13. Nice little tip, though I do find it hard to keep off the throttle. :P
  14. I went with 6, Don't think its any worse than TDU1 but also not sure if it is better. :)
