thank you. I presume there's a tool on here for decrypting the files. I'll see if I can find it and make the edits. In the meantime I found a workaround which is to create challenges. I just created a time attack that loops the entire perimeter of O'ahu with 3 stars traffic, 0 stars penalty and waypoints enabled. Just joyriding it took me 2 hours 45 mins to make the loop. But having bot racers off and traffic on in normal freeroam will be really nice. I don't like them showing up and bullying me when I'm just trying to relax and ride. Thanks for the info! 🙂

edit: my search skills are failing me. I am having a hard time finding out how to decrypt the gamePC.cpr file. I am running the steam copy of TDU2 and it has been updated to the latest 034 DLC2 build 16 patch, unpacked and has the community 0.4 unofficial patch installed if any of that makes a difference. If anyone can link me the method for decrypting the file I should be able to parse through the contents in NP++ right?

    Thanks again

Use this program and change "EnableBots" from 1 to 0. It worked for me; disabling bots while still having traffic. Finally don't have to deal with bots who sneak up on me and intentionally swerve into me while I am cruising. Thanks, binbow!

  2. Still has some mid-rev abnormal noise. Please help me fix it if you know how.

Replace file of the same name under Euro>Bnk>sound>vehicles

  3. I know TDU2 does not feature functional wipers. It would be cool to at least have wiper sound when it is raining. I don't have modding experience, but I think this can be accomplished by simply adding wiper sound to the existing rain file.

I actually tried it myself. Replace the file under the same name in Euro>Bnk>islands>[hawai or ibiza, depending on which island you want]>sound>ambience

The sound is kind of low when using exterior cam; you can barely hear it when engine sound gets in the way. It's even worse in interior cam. I have amplified the sound to the max in the editing software, but the sound is still too low. If you want to hear it while using interior cam, you can lower your car windows to hear the sound a little bit better. Open windows in the rain? I know, right? Also, TDU2 seems to only have one rain sound, and the game adjusts the rain volume based on how heavy the rain is; in other words, you will hear the wiper sound better in heavy rain than in light rain.

If anyone knows how to make the sound even louder, please let me know.

Wiper sound source: PS4 Project Cars 2 Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT4 wiper sound (I don't know if the same sound is also used for other cars in the game) sped up and amplified

  4. I will take a look tonight for you as it shouldn't be any more than a texture edit. It will most likely be 2 minutes work.

    EDIT: Here you go.

Wow. This just made my day. Thank you so much!

Hate to push my luck, but could you perhaps make the taillight darker or just make it orange? Right now it is a bit difficult to see the brake light when the taillight is also on, since both of them are in exactly the same red colour.

  5. First of all, I apologize for posting my request here. I would need at least 10 other posts to put anything under "Mod Request", but did not want to spam people with inconsequential remarks.

The Aston's taillight positions are inaccurate in the game, which puts the brake lights in the position of the regular taillights and vice versa. Could someone please switch the positions of the lights so that the orange portion (please keep the red colour; orange here is just for highlighting) in the picture should light up given the right circumstances?
