1. Ugh, the wind noise is so annoying... But nothing that can be done about it...
2. I think Ramon1991Cobra is redoing his sound mod for the Levante S. Edit: My assumption was correct. Edit 2: Dial in question is circled in red.
3. Added a new section, "Custom tunes." Maserati Levante S is the first vehicle to be in that section.
4. Thanks StarGT for the promotion of my review video and for doing an excellent job on this mod! Only issue I found was that the dial in the center console has some missing textures.
5. Okay, this is a great idea! Good job! This will for sure make sound modding much easier than using a Hex Editor.
6. Here are some vehicle tunes that I have made for AutoPack vehicles, now keep in mind that these tunes are not completely mine. Credit goes to Mitkop81 for making the original tunes and I changed the unrealistic stats to be more like the real version. I will update this thread whenever I have a new tune ready for people to check out. Also, I thoroughly test my tunes before releasing them. But if you find something that seems off about the tunes, let me know and I will do some corrections. So without further ado, let’s get onto the list. First off, you will need the newest version of Vehicle Property Editor (VPE), by Binbow, in order to import the tunes into the database. To import: Put the .bin file into the "ImportExport" folder (for simplicity); then launch VPE; then select the target vehicle, using the "Brand" tab and the "Model" tab to find the vehicle that matches the .bin file name; once you find the vehicle model, select it in the model tab and click on the "Load" button; once the vehicle is loaded up, click the "Import" button and select the .bin file that is named the same as the selected vehicle; select the correct .bin file and double click on it; you will see the stats change, but they aren't applied yet; after you see the stats change, click apply and the import is complete. Importing in my custom tunes is the same process as above, but you need to have Unofficial Community Patch V0.4 installed (since it's the only way to have Maserati brand). AutoPack is optional, but a good idea to have installed. You also need to pick a vehicle to use as a replacement. I recommend using something that's unreleased, since certain released vehicles might be a bit stubborn when it comes to removing their rims (like the boss vehicles for example). Autopack realistic re-tunes: BMW M4 Akropovic (from AutoPack 1.7) - Engine performance made to be as realistic as possible - Transmission gear ratios made to be as realistic as possible - Grip performance has been increased to allow the car to corner much better. - No need to change tire specifications Custom tunes: Maserati Levante S.bin Maserati Levante S Tire specs Future releases: BMW i8 (from AutoPack 1.5) Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo (from AutoPack 1.7)
7. I have been trying for the past couple of weeks and I have been unsuccessful...
8. Oh man, it's looking fabulous!
9. Version 2.0 is up for download. It's much better in terms of the revs, but it still has decent transitions... I have tried my best to make them as good as possible, but that is as far as I was able to get... Download link is the same, will remove "beta" part on the download link when I can edit the post, and there will be a new "video preview" as soon as I will be able to edit the original post. Edit: I'm able to edit the thread now (thanks Diablo), original post still has version 1.0 preview video since version 2.0 video is currently uploading... I will update thee preview video as soon as the Version 2.0 video is uploaded and processed. Edit 2: Version 2.0 preview video is up!
10. Not related to VPE, the sound file itself is named wrong...
11. I don't think it's 100% needed. Now if you could find a way to make wipers work, that would be perfect!
12. Personally I feel that file should be left alone, considering that it will and would have conflicts with other peoples mods. Like RamonCobra's tire mods.
13.
@Minime891 can you fix the download link? It says 'no file'.
I was able to download it perfectly fine... You might have been redirected to a different tab since that website does that on the first step.
14. Yes I did see that the RS6 has it's own rims in the game files, but Atari never used them... In fact the RS6 rims have slightly different textures. The RS6 rims are a bit "brighter" compared to the Q7 rims, but other than that they are the same rims... Edit: There's actually quite a few Audi cars that use the Q7's rims and have their own rims in the files already... The full list being: Audi RS6 Avant (All 4 of it's rims); Audi S3 (3 out of 5 rims); Audi S5 Coupe (3 out of 5 rims); and the Audi TTS Coupe (4 out of 6 rims and also uses one rim from the Audi S3). What were Eden Games thinking for those cars...?
15. Don't worry about the needles if you can't link them to the gauges in terms of glow. Also, here's my review of the mod...
16. That works? Why don't the standard TDU2 vehicles not have rain effects on the paint?
17. He means the spray that comes off the tires when it rains.
18. Dang it Minime, I had a video review of your mod recorded; rendered; and ready to upload. Now I will have to make a new one tomorrow...
19. Real quick, for those that can't use the provided camera file. The camera for the Ford Mustang GT (Number 382), is a pretty good option. Here are screenshots of the interior view with camera 382: Standing still: Moving: Only issue with this camera view is that the position of the looking back camera for hood view makes it so that your view through the rear window is partially blocked.
20. I think he was referring to making the rain drops themselves bigger.
21. Okay last issue and I will say the mod is perfect. Can you program the gauge needles so that they come on when the gauges come on? Because right now the gauge needles don't glow with the gauges when you turn the lights on (therefore turning on the gauges) and that looks a bit strange... The needles also stay on when you turn off the lights (therefore turning off the gauges) which also looks strange. Okay last thing I swear (LOL). Can you add a second model to the archive that has the front turn indicators realistic? Having it as an option would be nice for those that want absolute realism. You could add it in a folder called "High (2)" and also include a screenshot showing what's different between the 2 models. No worries if that won't happen...
22. Issue with the windows (red border shows the issue a bit better).
23. Could have been worse. Maybe if you offset those glares a bit, have the turn glare above the white glare and that will not make it look as weird. But honestly that really doesn't look that bad... Edit: Also, you should probably update the thread to say something like "Audi RS6 Avant C7 (2015)" since the Audi RS6 is the 4 door version. C7 being the newest version, C6 was the one that TDU2 has. Edit 2: Found out what's wrong in terms of paddle shifters. The plus and the minus are inverted (should be; minus on left paddle and plus on right one).
24. If it's too much of a hassle, then don't worry about it...
25. Understood, I had a feeling that was the case... Edit: What you could do is create a "light flare" for the turn indicator light so that it sits in front that light strip. I think you could even unlink the current "light flare" that's in front of the light strip and make that the turn indicator. Since the lower light strip is at 50% brightness when the headlights are on and that light strip is only at 100% brightness when in DRL mode. Edit 2: The interior gauges are now linked to the headlights. When you turn the lights on during the day time, the gauge lights come on about a second after turning the lights on.
