I think it would be enough with the Unofficial patch+the lastest AutoPack. The modding community is so disjointed that it would an unnecessary effort to try to add further mods.

That's because servers are dead, meaning, even the update servers. You'll have to find the update somewhere else

I have my old savegame backup'd in the cloud, but i had my game modded to death. Guess i'll have a whole lot of posh pink cars when i get back (Can't even remeber wich mods i had installed lol)

Yep, Atari didn't think this through. Servers down mean non accessible DLC Now that i think about it, i had bought quite a few cars and bikes, so i'm kind of screwed if i want to play offline.

Honestly, i just want multiplatform with cross saves. I'm a PC+Switch gamer and i'd love to get out with my Switch, connect online with my smartphone hotspot and continue where i left it at home. Also, no more distinction between online and offline profiles, tech wise we're waaaaay past these kind of issues.

G2A is anyting but legit, and has been involved in its fair share of scandals. OP i think you're better getting it seconda had on eBay or something. The game is now too old and hard to cross by in key reseller sites.
