Hello all TDU: C Members, I'm Gareth_25 and i've returned from the vast expanse of nothingness rejoin the community. I've done a little looking around and while there are some names I remember, there's certainly been a lot of new members join up, so i'm sorry if i've not met you. I can remember a time when Diablo asked us to take a look at his "New Website" and come and participate - that was some 2 years ago, and it seems that it's gone from strength to strength. (Not so) Secret: I once found Diablo on XBL during a random cruise through the island and crashed into him with excessive force, i actually apologised, then we had a little laugh about it... Another Secret: I also found TenebraUK (Atari Mod) during a random cruise and stalked her for a little while, she got freaked out and moved sessions... Hope to see y'all on Oahu!

BTW - Seat cheaper to insure than Clio as people have thousands of claims on em cos they crash as their build is terrible (bonnet lids flipping open for example), so you got the FAR better choice!

I'm currently working next to the HQ of Peacocks cloathing store (we share the same building) and it's frequently like a car showroom around there. Well today i'd had enough and decided to take a few piccies to show you all how well off some people can become from simple cheap cloathing! To start you off, a car that i didn't know had even been introduced yet: I Believe this car to be the new Mercedes CL 500 (far right) Then more of the good old brute force, the BMW M5 06 plate. (right) And finally the Top Boss of this particular establishment has the first two cars licked, (left and far left) If any of you are misguided to think that this is an SL, check out the interior and this side views Well, thats all, apart from the fact that in our office's cars look like crap... :whistling:

Well essentially, it's a gathering of people in a confined space playing PC games. In this occation the venue is a lot better than most as we've reserved the first floor of the Wetherspoons Pub/Club. It's about meeting new people, challenging real faces and having a good time about it all. Essentially, we have 13 people coming so far, and looking to reach out and get about double that number, and just wanted to know if the good people at TDU Central would be interested.

I know the sort of radio buttons you mean, but i've seen (and used) a free flash based music player, which pulls a proprietary playlist from the immediate server, but as it uses a website specific song list, so if you have for example free webspace from an ISP with no usage restrictions, low bitrate MP3's would be ideal, as it shouldn't impact the forum bandwidth at all (obviously this should be tested to prove this before it was live)

I'm sure that i wasn't dreaming, but no train crash tv??? I'm sure that the announcer said it would be done before the program started. Very odd. :hmm:

I know this may be something nobody here is interested in, but my friend here in Cardiff is organising a PC lan party for April 3rd. Games are not confirmed yet but will most likely include: Age of Empires 2 Battlefield 2 Command and Conquer Generals Counter Strike: Source UT 2004 Game discs will not be required as this would be provided, as would any networking hardware, but a fairly modern (at least one capable of playing UT04) would be required to be brought. We originally had planned to have a lan party, but a venue was always a problem. This has since been sorted, but means everyone who participates needs to be over 18 - As the venue is a trendy Wetherspoons "Lloyds No.1" Pub in Cardiff, close to our central train station As i'm just trying to help my friend with a little promotion of this, but if anyone wants to come, it would be great!

Got right Car Models Expanse of road networks Enough Houses Ease of getting all the cars you want without too much difficulty Everything else i don't criticise below Got wrong Streaming from disc technology - Most people have a Hdd, use it to pre load from the disc! Not enough variety of vehicles, we should have exotic, rare and concept vehicles, but should also incluse 4x4's Off road driving - driving on grass is the same as sand or the airport "runway" - there should be specific changes seen on types of surfaces so there is a possibilty of beach drag racing or runway drag strip The addition of bikes - seems like an afterthought Realistic weather effects during freeride - races could be varied by using weather, and it would be more interesting from stalling in the wet Night time driving - i like NFS:U2 due to this, it would be good to have a day / night rotation

*Hides Head* I work in Car & Home Insurance for almost every insurance company you can think of (and a few more you can't [yes, we really do deal the same insurance but slapped with a different name on it] ) We charge too much and still people pay! it's astonishing, when it's not mind numbingly boring.
