  1. In the downloads section of the 360 dash......Add Microsoft points with credit /debit card. Other than that any major gaming retailer will have them available on the shelf. :excited:
  2. -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- These are just straight copies of the ones I posted on Forzacentral.......so I haven'tresized them or managed to put them up in an attachment format (sorry mods/admin). Enjoy the pics though guys ;)
  3. Plus the points of- How many people will actually want to send IM's while playing? Also the need to get some keyboard of sorts would make matters worse. Messenger Live is extremely buggy to say the least. I'd rather not have Messenger but just access to my e-mails. Like I said before I'd much rather have codecs to play all my media, then and only then will my xbox become redundant ;)
  4. Been driven at 132mph in my dad's old 80's Cortina bored out 2.0ltr pinto with rally spec cams and head....comes in at just under 2.2ltr. Personally driven at 128mph in my trusty Rover 218Turbo Diesel.....yep 218 Diesel, was scary though due to the windscreen rubber being sucked out on the way to Blackpool....thing was banging against my roof, but due to the way I heard it I thought I'd blown the big-ends....lol. Also worth noting is that I took my Old Punto 1.2 single point injection to a grand old 114mph before blowing the head gasket on the way to Liverpool....:D Now I tend to stick around 80-85mph max on the m-ways. ;)
  5. I'm still hoping on a FULL set of media codecs too ;)
  6. Have you checked current prices?.....As far as I can make sense of they are fetching £400 upwards. I'm not exactly gooey-eyed with the PS3 after a bad PS2 pre-order experience. On a side not though, I got rid of my Wii on Saturday to a second hand shop, they gave me £180 for the console alone, £20 for extra Wii-mote and £15 each game (I had six)....a grand total of £290 which is just £10 below what I paid for the whole lote three months ago ;).....The same shop was selling PS3 for £425 and buying in at £300.....a loss of £125 straight away....lol, I also hear there are plentiful supplies of this supposed sought after piece of hardware....lol.....yeah right!! Xbox 360 premiums were being sold at £200 and bought in at £144. So obviously it pays to have a Wii when it comes to selling it on, little to no loss of initial outlay......although saying that this shop did have about 10 Wii consoles in store for £235 each, can't see £180 being offered much longer when the stockpiles are growing. I most likely will get a PS3 eventually though, maybe just for the latest Tekken and GT....but the price must come down to around £250 or less before I open my wallet.
  7. Nice drifts Diablo, just a couple of questions though...lol (yes, there's always someone..lol). ~What are you using to capture such clear video? ~Does the drift physics come in the latest update package? (I ask because for the last three, maybe four, weeks now my brother-in-law has had my TDU whilst I borrowed Import Tuner Challenge). Very good video by the way.....;)
  8. You can spread your adverts on the Forza site in my sig if you want neil12345, we currently have our own team, but we are looking to get other teams in on the action. If you choose to, could you please place the post/advert in FM2 section under clans, make a new thread and I'll see about getting it locked and pinned for you. ;)
  9. I was at around 2500 miles, that was until I went to college Tuesday night and left my two sons (didn't leave them home alone...their mother was home too....so no calling the Social Services....lol) playing my 360, I told them specifically not to play any game on XBL nor any game that was one player only, Ryan my youngest son then asked me the question "Can I play Test Drive please?" I answered him "no, because it's not two player". But kids being kids I returned home to a crying Ryan, he'd got upset that he'd began a new game on TDU and that he'd wiped out my old save game. So I have now swapped games with my brother-in-law for a while, but before we swapped I was back at around 250 miles or so. OH well at least I can now get a bit more proficient at the game with more practice...lol. And in the mean time I can rip it up on Import Tuner Challenge in my S15 :excited:
  10. Have you tried ASDA?...lol, nearly all their 360 titles are £39.99 or less ;)....also I go to places like Gamestation and GAME and root through the pre-owned shelves, Toys R Us also have deals every once in a while. Take for instance the day I got TDU...I searched shelf after shelf in all the gamestores in my town (about 15 stores) and found £32.99 pre-owned was the best deal, so I paid for it at once and thought great. Two days later I was at Toys R Us looking for birthday gifts my little girl.....TDU brand new just £29.99 :omg: Sorry about going off topic :offtopic: honestly I'm sorry :excited:
  11. I followed a link in F430's siggy on Atari forum, although I'm generally quiet, as far as posting goes, I usually check in daily to see what news/info is being spread about and also see what daily gossip is being stirred up ;) I must admit though I get very very little time to play TDU now, if I were more used to playing this game on LIVE I'd try and attend some of the meets you guys conjure up....but sadly my skills are mediocre. :(
  12. Maybe then we will see 360 games drop to counter-act this move by Sony. At the moment I refuse point blank to pay £49.99 for 360 titles (although Forza 2 may well be the contrary to my belief), I do the 'woman' thing and browse the shops for the best 'bargains'....lol, but if we see a capped price of no more than £40 we will all benefit a great deal. Sorry to say this but Sony's announcement can only be met with wide open arms and pukkered up lips ;) (plus the fact that when PS3 does come down to 'normal being' prices there should be some good titles available for a snip of what we were expecting).
  13. First console played on was the Atari 2600, used to love playing Miner 2010...lol First console owned was the NES......got it in '90 for £30 with Duck Hunt/Mario cartridge from The Game Store (doesn't exist anymore though). First games sytem owned was the Spectrum 48k back in '88, then I had an Atari 65 XE in '89.....heres a timeline below ;) Including my favourite games for each - 1988 Spectrum 48k Oh -Mummy 1989 Atari 65 XE -Crystal Caverns (at least this is what I think it was called) 1990 Nintendo NES -Mario 3 1991 Spectrum 128k -Hypersports 1991 Commodore CPC 464 -Outrun 1992 Sega Megadrive -Sonic the Hedgehog, Streets of Rage, Virtua Racing 1994 Super Nintendo -Marioworld, Yoshi's Island, Stunt Race FX, Killer Instinct 1995 Sega Saturn -Virtua Fighter 2, Guardian Heroes, Sega Rally 1995 Sony Playstation -Gran Turismo, Tekken 3 1996 Nintendo N64 -Mario 64, Diddy Kong Racing 1998 Sega Dreamcast -Metropolis Street Racer, Virtua Tennis 2000 Sony Playstation 2 -Gran Turismo 3, Tekken Tag Tournament, Tekken 4, Grand Theft Auto 3 Vice City 2002 Xbox -Forza, Rallysport Challenge 2, Project Gotham Racing 1 & 2, Scarface 2003 Gamecube -Mario Sunshine, Monkeyball Deluxe 2006 Xbox 360 -No real favourites yet....although Zuma and Hexic are good 2006 Nintendo DS Lite -No real favourites again 2007 Nintendo Wii -Wii sports, Wario smooth moves :excited:
  14. But as as long as FM2 is as good as FM1...wel I'd be happy ;) I also got me a PS2 purely for GT3 back in the day, and that wasn't a let down ;) I think it depends on what your waiting for...TDU for me was not a priority game, in fact the only reason I got was because it has cars :P But I'm anticipating that FM2 will live up to all/most expectations :bananajump:
  15. I got my 360 purely for Forza 2....lol, all other games so far have been to fill the void...lol ;)
  16. Check this page out, I followed the suggestions within the topic and got my 360 sharing with WMP11 and shared folders ;) http://forums.xbox.com/9202958/ShowPost.aspx
  17. :excited: Just like myself...lol I'm not overly excited with TDU to be honest, but since I have the game in my collection I will see what I can get with achievements etc, then I'm devoting my free-time to FM2 when that arrives.....:monkeydance:
  18. That would put me off going to the States for some journalistic motoring......scary as....f....f... Freddy sleeping in your bed...lol. Mind you, you'd be bloody barmy to slap slogans to stir up the natives on the side of your motors....;)
  19. Re: Cars You'd Like to see in Test Drive Unlimited Wouldn't mind a Cerbera though, the Speed 12 is like you say 'out of reach'. Grittith 500 would be sweet too. Also how about some Granturas, In fact why not just have a TVR game...similar to the Lotus Challenge games....I'd buy it as fast as possible to play with all the TVR range from the days of old upto latest models....wow!! I'm a TVR fan, hoping to own a Cerbera one day, but it's just pipe dreams at the moment. :excited:
  20. Thanks for the warm welcome guys (girls?...?). Thought I'd better give out some information on myself....lol. I'm a 30 year old father of four, set to marry this May. I live just outside of Bilston which is in the Black Country part of West Midlands area of England. I've been a gamer since about 12-13 years old. My favourite genres are - Racing (arcade and sim) Fighting Platform (although there aren't any of these around now). We (me, my wife to be and our kids) own the following systems - Xbox (x3) Xbox 360 Wii DS Lite (x3) Gamecube Emulators - SNES Megadrive (Genesis to the guys the other side of the lake) NES Mastersytem Turbo Grafix Gameboy Gameboy advance NeoGeo For the past (almost) two years I've been into Forza Motorsports, playing offline due to not having XBL and having a modded Xbox. I've been into all aspects of Forza at some point or other including - Paintjobs (done many designs mostly my own images, although I have been known to do replication designs, hosted mainly at Forzacentral and the site I help moderate Forzacenter) Drifting (mostly AWD cars) Racing (although I'm fairly slow). I got my 360 late November '06 and XBL Gold in early December '06. Currently waiting for FM2, which is the reason I went and got myself TDU.....something to pass the long wait ;) I have 10 games so far for my 360 and must say that TDU is my favourite so far. I have been looking around for TDU fanbases and haven't found too much so far. I hope to take TDU as far as I can (usuallyu boredom of games kicks in after a few weeks....lol, except Forza though ;)...) Maybe I'll catch a few of you guys on Live at some time for some 'FUN' races...I'm not too bothered with people who take games seriously, although I can be serious at times....say for instance in a race. More than likely you'll see me living upto my name of Joker....lol, usually mucking around somewhere. Once again thanks for the welcome and I hope I can add something to your cosy community.
  21. Just found this site thanks to a siggy link (f430gt) on TDU official site. Looks well structured and easy to use, hope to learn more about TDU.
