  1. Damn ... Porsche Because RUF just take their cars, hack them to bits and put them back together again Oh and I want a 914 P.S. I know a yellowbird is probably one of the most insane cars ever built but it still was a Porsche at the end of the day Bentley or Rolls-Royce
  2. KING SIZE - can't stand water beds Be Able to Fly OR Be Invisible 200th Post ... Yay!
  3. Batman - cool toys Kylie or Danni
  4. When Diablo has finished it ... I wouldn't bother him too much about this. See the main thread about this.
  5. How? It's a circuit racer, OK apart from the point to points but they're nowhere near the scale of TDU. TDU is good for Cannonball/Gumballs agree with friends a starting and finishing location, all lock and isolate session and off you go ... great fun!
  6. Scottish! - because of Whiskey Austin Mini or BMW Mini
  7. From what I understand Porsche upped it's shares to protect VAG (VW Audi Group) from a takeover from a non-German company. Why would they ditch Lambo or even change it, it is a good brand that is earning lots of money. Think about it why has Audi produced the R8 which can be considered as a competitor to the Gallardo. I think the Lambo and Porsche brands are both great names and can successfully exist under the same ownership. As to the LP640 well the Murci is nearing it's end anyway and must be due for replacement soon. It was the first car they designed under VAG control. Also you have to remember Porsche and VAG do a lot together already ... I think the Cayenne and Q7 are off the same platform and also the RS Audis normally have a Porsche or Porsche Tuned engine
  8. Looking forward to driving the old 911 Carrera RS
  9. I currently drive a current gen Celica (pre-facelift) 140bhp version Previously ... 850cc Mini Super Deluxe ... which after an engine transplant and lots of body mods (see My Mini Thread) became a 1275cc Mini ... and then I got bored again, so I bought a new engine for it (again) ... so it became a 1380cc Mini Mk I MR2 T-Bar Fiat Bravo HGT
  10. As mentioned before ... eventually you'll be able to get all the cars in Forza 2 (from what I'm lead to believe) ... the Region thing just dictates what cars are Rare and so have extra "Value"
  11. www.ign.com has lots of vids for Forza 2 ... graphics look great
  12. In the style of Penfold "Crikey" ... that's a lot of hits
  13. tdu-central would be my choice ... far easier to tell people about
  14. OK, so having enjoyed Forza 1 after comments from this site and not being a member of Forza Central I thought I'd pose this question. You have to pick a 'region' at the start of the game which dictates what cars appear easily and what are rare. So what do you pick?
  15. Yeah the New car isn't called a Ford GT40, it's a Ford GT, someone else owns the rights to the name GT40 ... also the original was designed by Lola (British) from what I remember Ugly looking race car though
  16. Gosh that's a REAL tough question ... shame they're only offering TDU
  17. Just realised you've been using the sig i created ... yay!
  18. Well if you've got a spare tenner and you want a good circuit racer, it's worth a crack ... especially as we have a wait till Forza 2 Just remember it's an old xbox game and it's quite entertaining
  19. I bought Forza from recommendations from this forum. I'm a new convert to the 360 after my PS2 finally died on me and also I wanted to play TDU (bought TDU and the 360 when TDU was launched). As to Forza ... it's a bit like Gran Turismo on the playstation. It's a circuit racer, graphics are a bit old now but what do you expect from an xbox game. In terms of game play it plays just like GT where you do a series of events to win credits and prize cars to the compete in further competitions and buy new cars or upgrade them. The differences to GT are that it has damage on the cars (which does effect the handling) and it has visual customisation for the cars in terms of bodykits, paint and vinyls (a bit like the recent Need For Speed series). But it was worth the 10pounds it cost me when I bought it. Comparing it to TDU ... a completely different beast. TDU is great for just cruising around and having fun ... well that's what you'll find me doing. Looking forward to Forza 2 tho ...
  20. do a search in the forum ... I'm sure there is one ... but some tips for you 1. Drive ALL the roads, that way you'll find the missions. The missions are all over the island. 2. Don't finish a Delivery mission unless you have a perfect driving bar (you get a 50% extra on the cash) ... just take your time 3. Top Model and Hitchiker missions can pretty much all be completed if you can do 120mph, which is far easier to control. Perfect on a Top Model gets you an extra clothes voucher ... so you can buy all the clothes (you can retry these tho unlike the Delivery missions)
  21. The paint job on the XJ is sacrilege! I had trouble trying to spot the Diablo in the pictures ... my eyes were distracted by something Oh and is this years event sponsored by Adidas and Ray Ban by some chance? Oh to go on one of those type of events ... one day
  22. No I meant this ... http://www.autoblog.com/2007/04/24/delivery-trucks-are-cool-ford-transit-sportvan/ One you can actually buy. Oh and in the vans you can't buy, you forgot this one ... http://uk.cars.yahoo.com/06032006/45/ford-transit-connect-x-press-0.html ... appologies to all those for going OT
  23. While you're fighting over the Porsches I'll take the white Gallardo
  24. yeah looks like an 'S'-Type race car ... but I thought why!
