Re: TDU Central Competiton #1 Well the cars in my mind see a lot more stable (as long as you don't use the fabulous Hardcore mode) so should theoretically get a faster time ... however we've already done the run so know what we sort of have to do ... even though my memory of the island is absolutely ......... I don't believe I'll get the fastest time ... not really an out and out racer as anyone whos been online with me will know ... spend too much time trying to go sideways and larking around on cruises to work out 'the racing line' around bends If the concensous is for me and Baxie to have a second run to level the playing field in terms of car performance then OK I'm up for it ... but if by the miracle of whatever god you may support either me or Baxie win then please don't complain.

just look for anyone from this forum online .... there's normally one of us ... and if there isn't an official cruise we quite often do a 'Fly Drive' (see Diablos post) Oh but today will be a nightmare for jumping to friends as there's a new DLC ... expect the servers to be busy

Try the 180mph race in traffic that you can use A class cars on ... gets you 700,000 a shot ... just north of the Spyker Dealer ... only takes a few seconds to do so racking up a Million in a few mins is easy to do

The Cobra Coupe Concept thingy from the Ford dealer comes in Chrome. I don't think you can paint cars Chrome tho

well haven't done an FMC yet ... hopefully should be around this Friday ... hmmm car choice ... put me down for a W12 Roadster ... don't see many on the roads and I've only driven mine off the forecourt!

So what did the update do? Do we have an official list from Atari? I see that the light/driving position issues haven't been fixed ... the %age thing has ... and cars seem a lot more stable/easy to catch in the bends ... well the ones I've tried are ... Perhaps I should ask for a rerun on the Competition????? I'm off to watch "The Suzi Perry Show" ... sorry The Gadget Show ... catch you online later for a short cruise if you want?????

Well I tried to find a group of 8 cars that all had a reasonably close top speed ... having been caught out by driving the Z-28 & XKR which were 2 slow cars !!!! If you're going to put in the Farboud (which is a little faster than the rest) it might be best to offer that to Baxie :crackup: Can I use the CLK then when you run this ... as long as I can make it!

Well not a bad race once it finally got started ... a lot of server issues by the looks of it (including me when everyone started and I was stuck on the line!) As to B Class ... been doing a little thinking ... well I've got a spreadsheet in progress with ALL the stats for ALL the Stages of cars ... it has a lot of gaps at the moment ... so B Class cars well they're ... Shelby GR-1, W12 Coupe, XJ200, Farboud, Cobra Concept, Rt 12, Ascari, Vipers (both), CLK DTM AMG, Z06, F430s (both), Gallardo (SE & Coupe), Ford GT, Nobles (all 3) and the Caterham And for those of you in the know they're listed in order of top speed(ish) So as to the 8 cars for the next race I'd suggest the following. British Ascari KZ1 Noble M14 American Dodge Viper SRT-10 Coupe Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Coupe Ford GT German Mercedes CLK DTM AMG Italian Ferrari F430 Coupe Lamborghini Gallardo SE This gives you 4 cars with the same top speed (197-198mph)- Ascari, Viper, CLK & Z06 And then 4 slower cars (189-195mph)- whoever is known as the best driver could be handicapped and use the Noble as this is the slowest of the pack 189mph & 4.3s compared to 198mph and 3.9s for the fastest 4 cars (give or take a stat) Well this is only a suggestion but should give some reasonably close racing ... if you feel like using this and I can make it can I claim either the CLK (main preference) or the F430.

Simple really ... knew Diablo was putting together TDU Central ... finally got frustrated with some idiots who don't read posts on the Atari forum so converted to the Dark Side
