Haven't driven the Cien much ... I normally avoid driving the 'concept' cars as a lot of them aren't 'real world' ... It accelerates pretty quick ... handling was ok(ish) ... oh and the digital rev counter doesn't work!

Cool ... more cars to buy! Wish they'd bring out some more supercars/classics!

I have lots of favourites ... it's like asking me if I won the lottery what's the 1 car I'd buy ... I can't answer that I like driving ... XJ220, Ford GT, Gallardo Spider, Miura to name just a few

Well if I can remember correctly I got 2As 4Bs 2Cs and a D for my GCSEs all those years ago ... oh and just to remind you how old I am ... I did Maths a year early and that was the first year of GSCEs! Dodgem ... At least you got Bs in Maths and Science

My mate's Tuscan had that colour interior ... the top one! Looks fab in when you actually see it ... a TVR needs to look insane inside and out!

Cruise now finished ... well for me at least! Hope you all enjoyed it guys ... Next Cruise organised by me will be Monday 10th September. I'll post details some point next week a little early I know but I'm off on holiday the first week in Sept and won't be back till late on the Sunday!

as in a Redemption Code. when the game came out there were 4 special giveaway cars Standard Gallardo - given away by the online shop PLAY Zonda Roadster Spyker C8 Spyder McLaren F1 LM - could be the GT can't remember but it's the orange one To get these you need the Microsoft code thing that you enter on the 'redeem codes' bit of your desktop ... this then unlocks the car in the dealer so you can buy it using in game $ occasionally on the official Atari forum they now give these codes away, if you're lucky and on at the right time ... <hint> try checking on a Friday between 9-6pm UK time

well so far it looks like 2 groups of 5 people ... I'll split it ... depending on how I feel later tonight ... about 7pm (ish) ... also I'll pop online then and suggest 2 starting locations ... 1 for my group and 1 for the second ... it'll be a nightmare if both groups meet at the same location ... so please everyone check back here as to which group I've put you in and your meeting place ... oh and happy cruising ... oh and this'll be my last cruise for a couple of weeks ...

<cough> KIT CAR <cough> ... and now Serious stuff The Veyron has been designed to FULL VAG specs ... this means in terms of durability (how long things last before they break, just ask someone about Belgium Pave ... cobblestones) ... then there's all the safety requirements ... I bet the Barabus and SCC haven't been designed to pass all the crash requirements in the world these days (and by pass I mean they'll have a margin on top of the requirement) ... then there's NVH (Noise, Vibration & Harshness) or how much things shake and droan/boom ... having seen the Clarkson trip across Europe the Veyron is a VERY refined car ... I bet the other 2 aren't ... Well that's just a few things that don't really make these cars comparable to the Veyron ... a Veyron is a MAJOR feat of engineering ... anyone could make a seriously quick car if you put your mind to it! Oh and I'd still have an McLaren F1

Dodgem ... just give this girl all the support she needs ... just be there for her as a friend when times are hard ... and who knows something might rekindle in the future, but I wouldn't force the issue. Oh and some women are worth the wait .............

Glad you all enjoyed it guys Dodgem ... sorry you had to leave, we all understand that life is hard for you at the moment. Next week is Convertibles/Spiders/Spyders/Roadsters ... if anyone can think of a funny cruise title I'm open to suggestions ... PM them to me.

Some advice from an old bloke ... Don't do a knee jerk reaction and EVEN have a drunken 1 night stand with this other girl. You'll only feel worse than you do at the moment ... and you'll end having ZERO chance of ever getting back with this girl you love. Also resorting to Alcohol as a friend isn't a good idea ... trust me on that one! If you REALLY love this girl, then you'll give it some time, as you said she most probably feels guilty about this other guy with the illness. Bad illnesses do funny things to relationships ... Just give it some time mate ... who knows how things will work out ... just don't do anything stupid.
