Basically it has to be watched by a person from the world records to be the official top speed. Also it has to be the average speed of 2 runs, one in one direction and one in the opposite direction. This is so the car is unaided by the conditions.

Yes very true plus the Veyron didn't go for a official top speed run from what is written. They know it's got nothing to prove I guess.

Yes as the club house bugs are still not fixed there is no point in adding the members. Hopefully the clubs will work in TDU2.

How heavy is the Quattroporte as it looked slow to get going?

Using wheels (PC version) there was a problem with driving in a straight line at speed if that's fixed then that's good.

I think a gamepad is most popular for TDU as most wheels have problems with the sensitivity settings.

The last I heard Simbin are working on a Ferrari game. Oh yes how could I have forgot TDU2 but there is no official word on the date. ;) Also Alone In The Dark looks good.

Now we are into the new year the festive period comes to a close I will be online a lot more now. Also as said in the other thread I need to learn to drive again. And yes TheScottishSpotter was right I need to learn the layout of the 360 controller so I can be more familiar with 360 driving games. My MIC still has problems TheScottishSpotter so looks like I need to get another new one again :(. Maybe this time not from the bargin bin. I will be online most of the time after today. The reason I'm thinking of getting a 360 is because I will not be able to afford another upgrade now but a 360 should be good for a few more years. I love first person shooters and you can't beat the mouse for aiming so the PC wins every time. I can see a 360 mouse in the future if the PS3 one is popular. Once the consoles have mice then the PC gamers are only left with high end Graphics but the hardware is so expensive. This is the problem Crysis has now and why they have not sold as many as they had hoped. I can see the future will have PC/console hybrid systems. This is what developers and publishers are wishing for so the cost of making games is a lot cheaper. Something has to give because games are getting as expensive as movies to make and publishers are merging to offset the costs. Games are better on PC's when everything works but the experience is a lot closer on consoles now as they are becoming more like mini PC's. I have always been a big fan of Epic games they love PC's but they are trying hard to bring the PC experience to consoles. A lot of PC fans hate this but I like games and that is what is important not which system is best.

The text messages were even more mad this year ether everyone was so drunk they sent me 10 - 20x the same text or the networks had a meltdown.

Thanks for the mention. It's going to be a real challenge for me in 2008 trying to get my head around the new 360 controller. Accelerate/brake on the triggers, left and right on the thumb stick. I look up instead of accelerating and look down and crash when braking :D. So you will see me a lot online in the new year trying to learn to drive again.
