Yes you got revenge in the end on the last remaining mafia guy. ;) I must say congratulations Speed_Freak on becoming a club member. You have shown good sportsmanship and dedication. I hope you will keep enjoying what we do and welcome to the family. ;) Also I would like to say congratulations to Zurious on becoming a club member, after being a good friend, showing true dedication to the club and helping me out with so much. Thanks, I'm stuck to know which is the best to have as wallpaper so I will change it each day. ;) Ok back on topic after all the cruises this week there have been only a few connection problems and the lag when people leave and join the session is a problem. I've started to have the game lock up now but don't know if it's my PC or not. I've not had any problems in photo mode yet but I know some of you have. But I've not had any other problems so far.

We had a very good Mafia cruise, sorry to all that had problems and could not make it. There is always next time, so don't feel left out. :D I will add the pics to the TDU Central club photo album later. Thanks to all that made it, we had a good few catches and some long chases. Also some very good sporting victims, thanks to all of you if you do come to the forum. I think I wrote tdu-central.com enough times. ;)

Ok I got some shots of the sky and I can tell you it depends on the weather and time of day. Have a look at these pics and you will see what I mean. These are all from after the patch I can't see a problem with the sky...........

No problem that's what this forum is about we try and help each other as much as possible so don't worry about asking questions. The recording software was FRAPS and the movie making software I used is Windows movie maker. The version that comes with Vista I don't know if it's the latest one or not. You can use this to put the videos together then add the effects and music.

Ha, ha, timo. :D It's a normal Mafia cruise so we will all be Mafia guys/gals. ;) The victims are random people that show up. TheScottishSpotter are you ok to lead the second group as it looks like we will have more than 5 people? Or do you want to be in the same group as me?

TDU Central club announcement Mafia cruise 21st July 2007 "The Mafia are in town again looking for fresh victims. People stay off the streets things are about to get nasty." Yes this is the first Mafia cruise since the club re-start and here are all the details you need to know: The Mafia cruise will be a normal one and will be on 21st July 2007 @ 8pm UK time. Depending on how many people want to do it we will start @ Meeting place E. If there are more than 5 the second group will start @ Meeting place F. The aim is to drive to the lighthouse in the top left corner of the map. These two routes should give the maximum chance of finding victims. You must bring a black 4 door car, it can be any make and you must wear a black/dark suit (tie optional). To confirm everyone knows the rules I will add them to the first post with all the other club info. So please reply here if you are interested so we have a idea of the numbers. If more than 10 people are interested I will add the third meeting place. "Remember it's only a bit of fun no real people will be hurt only their pride." ;)

It was a fun cruise lots of fast driving and drafting. Sorry not many pics but I will put them in the album later. The special cruise we will do at a later date. The cruise today will be another normal one. Stay tuned for the Mafia announcement next ;)

Yes this is a common problem, just keep trying and you should connect. If you can't connect after 10-20 try's it could mean the server is down.

It will be this Saturday or Sunday same 8pm UK time. I'll have a date by the end of today.

Ok a normal mafia cruise we chase down random people we see show up. A fun mafia cruise is organised chases with just us. The rules are as follows: The Mafia car is a Black 4 door car and you must wear a black/dark suit (tie optional). We drive around until we see someone show up and then go after the nearest one to us. We have to chase them down and make them stop in any way possible. We have to stop them moving so we have to block their escape once they cannot move the Mafia type "owned" take a pic and move on. Then it starts again and we look for the next victim. Oh and don't worry about the type of car we chase, the challenge is to work together and chase the victim down. Our first catch was a ME four twelve so any car is possible to catch with good team work. Remember the faster they are the easier they are to catch because there is normally a bad driver behind the wheel. ;)

Thanks TheScottishSpotter it was another great cruise. I will update the club photo album when I get home tonight. A note to all: As we will do a mafia cruise soon what dose everyone want to do. A normal Mafia cruise where only 5 people can join and we go and chase down other people. Or a fun Mafia cruise where 5 people are in Mafia cars and 3 people are in normal E and lower class cars? We can split into groups and meet at different meeting places if there is a lot of interest. Also dose everyone know how it works?

Ok I've not really looked at the sky that much since the patch I will have a close look tonight when I load up TDU. But if you look at my sig at the top of the car and the water where the sun is hitting it, this is the effect you should get with HDR on.

That is the point of HDR, it's real time lighting. If you need sunglasses then it's working.

We didn't have any major problems at last night's cruise. Yes the game is still stuttering mainly when people connect and disconnect. But overall I would say there is a improvement. The city part runs better but still not perfect. We were able to drive through and out the other side in one piece. There was one connection glitch where I lost everyone but they all connected back straight away. So lets hope they can polish it a bit more then it will be perfect.

You missed the club cruise yes if that's what you mean. Please post in the club thread this thread will be for all other PC cruises not connected to the club now.

Yes it was good tonight no major problems. It was fun and we did a lot of miles. :D Yes my "drive" was another mini cruise. lol Pics will be added to the TDU Central club photo album.

I've got a similar set-up as you tigacatch and I find it runs a lot better. I can drive in the city better and I was told to use the World In Conflict beta drivers for the 8800 as this makes the city run very smooth. I'm yet to try it as I don't like to use beta's but I may try it later. The only time I have seen lag so far is when people join and leave the session. I will see how the cruise goes tonight and let you all know here how it went. Oh and I can now do the 180 speed run challenge in the city without it lagging every few minutes.
