That was a fun night. We were playing a game of cops and speeders. Here is the idea credit goes to FA430RGT for bringing the idea to this forum:- From the xbox 360 section:- "Was Diablo's orginal Idea from the Atari board and seeing that it was Such a success I'd thought lets try it here.. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Basically it’s cops versus a speeder. The cars must be the same class or one below (if you like a challenge) and the aim of the speeder is to avoid being caught for a predetermined time, could be anything from 3mins to 30mins if you want! They must avoid being stopped, hit off the road several times or crashing into a solid object hard, like a tree, barrier edge or even a telephone poll. The cops obviously have to stop the speeder by any means necessary and of course would do best working as a team by setting roadblocks, boxing in and the like or of course a head on smash is always good. lol Cops are always black and can be any car, speeders there are no limits on car choice apart from you cannot be a Class A. --------------------------------------------------------------------- This is what Diablo Posted long ago and what we will basically be following, I think that the Cops should be Black Maserati's Gransports (With the black rims ) And the Speeder(s) (Deicide on day) should have something a little bit faster (DB9 perhaps?) And I was thinking of recording times of how long the speeders can survive and I'll post them on the board Later.." We think the cops should have A class and the speeder has B class cars. So do you want to try this again tomorrow but using the rules above? So for example if you hit a post and stop that's it not like tonight.

Ok there are just too many connection problems so there are 2 groups, club members meet at the club house car park. Non-club members meet at the normal place and go on you own cruise. Sorry but there are major problems tonight :(

Yes there is a cruise tonight, every night same time same place. ;) There is never a theme unless someone says so in this thread. So if anyone wants to do their own theme at any time they just need to post here a few days before.

Yes I've had this, I found out the car was hitting a bump and then the car touches the ground. Very uneven roads don't help, I did it in the end by driving round the bad part of the road once I found out where it was happening.

When there are 6 or more people connected the connection gets very unstable. This looks like getting more of a problem when not everyone can see everyone if you know want I mean.

That's the problem with darker cars they don't show up the details but I like dark colours. I have a mixture of dark and light cars so when I'm going to take some photo's I will use the lighter colour cars. BTW the DB4 is a very cool car I've ordered mine, now I just got to wait for the day it becomes available at the showroom :(

Looks like it for older games but when DirectX10 is out it will be better. Also the drivers are still not optimised so that will make a difference. From other reviews it looks like the XFX GeFORCE 8800 GTS XXX 320MB is the best buy for price and performance. If you need a next gen card now this is the one to get.
