  1. I don't understand though, why Ford would want to offload Volvo. Wasn't it quite a profit-maker the whole time?
  2. I hope this experience happens more often to ricers all over the world...
  3. Haha, I only thought about it after seeing one in the car park near my home... I must say though, it's a very interesting way of doing a car to guess... http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p265/1carfreak1/guessthatcar.jpg
  4. I'm sorry, but this is simply too ironic for me to ignore...
  5. That's a good old TG vid there, and I think more similar to what 5th Gear are showing now. I agree with everyone else, i do think TG has been on a decline, what with everything being so scripted and simply not funny anymore. As Andy Wilman said in his blog on the TG website, the trio are now acting up their "cartoon" sides too much, and frankly it comes across to me as being desperate. If you've noticed, the best TG films tended to be the genuine ones, those where it's just the 3 of them having a good time. Films like Bonneville, the North Pole, Africa, America etc etc. Those are great because it's the 3 of them behaving completely naturally, reacting to various situations as they see fit, on the spot, instead of some preposterous slapstick act. It's their spontaneity that makes the show gold, and they (the entire TG team) have rather lost the plot of late.
  6. Can't be, the V50's tailgate doesn't slope as much as this one
  7. HTF, because it isn't a LP670 SV
  8. Guys, I rather do think you're all missing the point of this thread... I think this is more about how interesting and unique each of the garages look, rather than its contents (which, let's face it, we've all seen before). I especially like the one with the Ferrari Boxer
  9. Same. I've been a fan of it ever since I first laid eyes on it in Need for Speed II
  10. Lol you're obviously clutching at straws... And it can't be a Fiat Croma. The roofline's too low for that
  11. This is really puzzling. It's European, yet I can't think of any other brands whose estates have that sort of roofline. It's not an SUV and yet the body looks too tall to be a regular estate car. My thoughts keep returning to the Subaru Legacy but then you already said it's European. And then after that they turn to the Range Rover Sport and Range Stormer concept but the body is to low to be the RRS and the Range Stormer has only 2 doors. I'm tearing my hair out trying to guess what it is! :( Wait, just had a crazy thought: Rover 400 estate?
  12. GREAT NEWS!!! Saab might still get another chance yet! http://money.cnn.com/2009/12/20/autos/saab_gm_spyker_offer/index.htm Cross your fingers and pray as hard as you can that this one will work!
  13. Finally! Someone who understands what's going on!
  14. That's a pretty nice design. I wonder what it'd look like with bolder muscle car colour, though...
  15. Thing is though, this time round, it was GM mis-handling the brand for 20 years. Saab didn't do this to themselves. Anyone else noticed that both Rover and Saab have folded right when they were on the cusp of launching some potentially life-saving cars to replace their ageing models? For Rover it was the Focus-class RDX60, for Saab the new 9-5. Would have been really nice to see how they'd have fared Rover RDX60
  16. Ah, noted. Now it's down to how the theme-chooser sees it ;)
