  1. <waits impatiently for next theme>
  2. Yeah that Aussie guy really stuffed it into the wall. Vettel also locked the brakes and flew off the track in the white X-Bow, not sure if there's any damage on it. In the end though, took the win against , first in the ROC buggies, then in the X-Bows. Having said that though, I did really want to see Tanner Foust get further than he did. Congrats to him though, he had an epic drive against Button in the group stages, finishing just 0.050s (5 hundredths of a second) behind Button, they were literally side by side coming over the line. Plenty of drama and great racing at the Race of Champions, though I can't help but feel that in some of the races, the results are influenced way too much by the cars used. For example coming from a rally background, Mikko Hirvonen would be MUCH better with the Focus WRC compared with, say, the X-Bow, and this is a rather unfair advantage for some. I think this is the main reason Button lost in the semi-finals, because he was in the WRC car racing against an ex-rally guy, so obviously the odds wouldn't be in his favour. Still, I really enjoyed watching all of it, can't wait for it to happen again!
  3. Booo. Germany so very nearly didn't make it through. If Travis Pastrana hadn't screwed up his final corner against Vettel in the Semis, Team USA would have gone on to the finals! But great racing, as ever. So cool to see the drivers just doing all this for fun, esp away from the FIA. And shame you missed the group stages Koeni. Tom Kristensen (Team Scandinavia) had a huge crash in one of the X-Bows, he oversteered going below the bridge, right rear wheel clipped the side of the tunnel entrance, and lifted the whole car off the ground and spun him 180 degrees! Can't wait for the individual Race of Champions now though :D
  4. That's Singapore Opera House... Anyway my vote went to FatPenguin. Most creative photo this week
  5. Maybe you should have the honour of being nuggeted first for that ;)
  6. Paintjob looks really really horrible, but i'm pretty intrigued by how it goes
  7. This has been such a long time coming... Hooray for the nugget! :bananadance:

  12. Here's one I took of my school: http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p265/1carfreak1/CIMG6289edit.jpg

  14. Nice liveries Tom, but I do think it works better on the Zonda than the Koeni, because of the carbonfibre at the bottom
  15. Happy b-day Jazzi! Do continue lightening this place up with your wonderful photography, and perhaps don't get too many more piercings. We don't want you turning into a colander :D
  16. And I'm Car freak... :p Anyway, it's true that i don't really like selective de-sat, but i don't hate it to the extent Mark said. And here's something I did recently: decided to do a mini-photoshoot with my M3 GTR the other day because of the sunset... http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p265/1carfreak1/Model%20Cars/IMG_6552edit.jpg http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p265/1carfreak1/Model%20Cars/IMG_6515edit.jpg http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p265/1carfreak1/Model%20Cars/IMG_6502.jpg Now here comes the bit where you guys will think I'm a certified lunatic: I actually placed the car on the air-con unit outside my window to take these photos; you can see the windows in the background of one of the shots. The catch? My window is 25 floors up!
  17. Of late, I've started to have the conviction that most of the world's problems can be solved with slow-motion :D Just remembered this one after seeing Mark's water droplet video. What amazes me in this one is how, upon impact, the bullets behave, or at least look like, a liquid. Incredible!
  18. Holy cow. That is an insane sight right there. Those droplets, coupled with that lighting, really does make for excellent photography. Shame regular cameras have no way of capturing things like that :( And you're right - who would've thought water droplets behave like that? Utterly amazing
  19. Saw this on WreckedExotics before it came up on the TG website. I pity the dealership, imagine how much it will cost to repair/replace the car
  20. Since this is more about the quality of the car's design, rather than how nice the picture itself looks, i decided to go for Z06dude's Audi
