  1. HTF for me. Love how it looks like the crane is picking up the car
  2. There really is only one winner here: EK Think you could send me a version in 1280x800?
  3. It's not bad, but I think they could've done more... This is just slightly underwhelming unfortunately
  4. Sean's Monte Carlo from Tokyo Drift?
  5. Carlos for me. How can you not like a huge blower on the front of your car? Narwhal, Aston and Hedge did run it pretty close though
  6. Mafia 2 looks interesting. What's the game about?
  7. This? Not related to an F1 car? Yeah right... Still, as far as trackday tools go, this is certainly one of the most awesome. Now all it needs is a black/gold, red/white/gold, or green/yellow paintjob: EDIT: Ooh, hang on...
  8. If only Forza had an option for you to put the roof down...
  9. Reaper, that is one of the most freaking badass vinyl designs I've ever seen on a car anywhere, be it in a game or real life http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p265/1carfreak1/DiRT%202/dirt2_game2009-12-1600-21-01-64.jpg
  10. Hmmm, this could be a tough theme
  11. Why do you say that? IMO, he's probably the most talented/natural of the current bunch of American rally/drifting/X-Games racing drivers. Ken Block, for all his drool-worthy Gymkhana videos, essentially bought his way into motorsports with the money he made from DC Shoes, while Travis Pastrana migrated to rally only because he'd already broken every single bone in his body doing motocross stunts, and that driving a rally car was safer (not every day you hear a comment like that, but what the hey). As for TG USA, I'll probably still watch it even if it turns out no good. It's 3 guys cocking about in cars, what more could you want, you xenophobic, closed-minded, "only Clarkson, Hammond and May can do Top Gear" numpties... At the very least, just give it a chance before completely writing it off right? And for the record, I did find TG Oz fairly entertaining. Certainly not as good as the originals but nowhere near as bad as the TG fanboys are proclaiming
  12. Nice! That's a really neat looking replica! Of course the Z8 they used in The World Is Not Enough wasn't exactly an original BMW either ;)
  13. But it looks almost totally stock... Here's mine: based on this (anyone recognise it?):
  14. I liked the handling physics in DiRT 2 enough to overlook its flaws, since the physics is ultimately the core of any racing game. My main gripe though, like everyone else's is that the game was waaaay too Americanized and catered too much to the X Games/Extreme Sports/Ken Block/Travis Pastrana crowd (the stylistic elements, particularly the menu design was pretty cool though). Not saying that they have a bad influence on the game, it's just that it's kinda sad for CM to have to resort to these sort of things in order to sell the game... I actually found the Rallycross and Landrush events rather interesting at first, but there was too much focus on that in the game, and not enough on Rally. From what I've heard though, CM have listened to the fans, and are putting in A LOT more rally-related content this time round (something like 50 rally cars, not including vehicles for other race modes?), as well as many more environments and tracks to race in. I just hope they don't scrap the Landrush and Raid events completely though, cos they do add something interesting to the game. And the Official WRC game? Well from what little I've seen, handling physics aren't great, and car choice is extremely limited (only 4 cars in the WRC class - Citroen C4, Ford Focus '08, Ford Focus '09, Subaru Impreza - plus a few more in S-WRC and P-WRC) Just wish CM had actually delivered on their promise of DLCs for DiRT 2 (how awesome would a Group B/Group A tribute pack have been?), but I suppose I can forgive them if they sacrificed that to push for DiRT 3's development... Oh, and GTAMADDOG, most stages in CMR2005 (which I think you'd consider a proper rally game) were only 3mins long anyway ;)
  15. I really like the design, and I suppose using a base Ferrari engine is also in keeping with the original Stratos' roots... What this thing REALLY needs though, is pop-up headlights
  16. The key difference is that at least the Japs offered quality. The Chinese? Well, just look at this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PHZqcKj7jNM
  17. Cool, what car is that based on?
  18. It sits on my bedside table, next to where I usually put my handphones and spectacles, so it's one of the first things I see when I wake up. But thanks for the vote! Taken from the entry thread: "This week's theme: Daily Routine Show us something that you use/see/do every day."
  19. Voted for MarcoPolo for that really creative idea. t. came a close second
  20. I really really really want to introduce my fist and foot to black-haired guy's face and posterior respectively
  21. So many times this question has been asked, so many times I've wasted way too much time narrowing the list to just 5, so many times I'm happy to do it all over again :D 1) 1969 Dodge Charger R/T http://i941.photobucket.com/albums/ad251/warriors005/1969-dodge-charger-6.jpg 2) Aston Martin V12 Vantage (although I'd swap the bonnet for one with less holes) 3) BMW M5 E39 4) 1970 Plymouth Road Runner "Hammer" 5) Murray T25 (because I love the engineering ideas behind it)
  22. I have this on my bedside table, so I see it everyday http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p265/1carfreak1/Model%20Cars/IMG_0096-1.jpg [mod edit:] Please do not post images larger than 350KB, use a thumbnail or a text link instead, thanks!
