  1. If Jeremy had hot food would he have punched the Oisin? If Oisin had organised hot food for Jeremy and the rest of the crew, would jeremy have lost his temper and over reacted? There is logic there. :p
  2. Well if his nibs had some hot food then he wouldn't have had such a paddy. I do think the producer dropped the ball (albeit a very tiny ball), but it just seems it was poorly timed after a long tiring day for everyone. ;)
  3. And from this point Oisin Tymon will forever be known as the guy that finished TopGear... basically because he didn't do his job properly. Not saying that Jeremy didn't over react, but I do know how grumpy I can get when I'm hungry. I feel more sorry for the hundreds of other people that will lose income because of this.
  4. Yep. Just that ^^^ Bigger bikes are more forgiving and can allow you just plough though some pretty nasty terrain... once you turn off you brain that is.
  5. Well, TopGear was crap last night... there was;t even a single car in it. Not even James and Richard were there. :(
  6. Got the rest of the bits for my new bike this weekend. Finally got it built up and its an absolute ripper:
  7. Pretty certain I'll be voting Tory this time. I do like that Labour put more into public funding and other such issues... but last time they were in power they nearly bankrupt the country with their borrowing. I don't think any government is going to be able to solve the corruption amongst the super rich companies and people because they always get paid off, but i believe the tories have better financial policies (overall). People in the UK always complain about the Polish (foreigners) taking all the jobs, but not many actually get off their backsides and are willing to work. There are jobs out there but some aren't that exciting or well paid. Greens have some good ideas- but as ever everything else is rubbish. UKIP are just a bunch of bigoted idiots who'll have us at war with Europe and the US if they get any power. ...blah blah blah. Bring Back Clarkson.
  8. Yep, mine's a Ti running on 19s. so it's already nice and low. Will get dampers at some point, but want a hybrid turbo first It does take an hour when its done properly. Looks like you friend had the common 156 problems and left it too long. The first thing I did when I got mine was take it to a specialist for a health check. Got the EGR blanked, inlet swirls deleted... cracked rear spring(s) were the last common issue I was waiting for
  9. Ha, maybe. I'd rather pay someone to do it properly, than someone else to do it quicker but bodge it to death. The only people i know that have real issues with their Alfa are those that don't look after it and refuse to pay for basic necessities. :)
  10. This happened: So I got these: All 4 cost the same price as 2 oe springs. Oh and 4 hours labour which was the most expensive part.
  11. His tone of voice did not really suggest that though. If that were really the case you'd hear much more venom in it. To me it was more as if he's given up on the BBC and just said to himself 'screw it I'll go out with a bang'
  12. Yeah, saw that on his FB page. :) Can't believe all they're replacing TG with is some poxy show about the Red Arrows. Am also wondering how much they're going to lose when the other networks that have bought the show claim compensation. Clarkson's a clever bugger shopping himself just before his contract comes up for renewal and to the one of the few people in the BBC who would make a huge deal out it... rather than just sorting it out internally. Strikes me that the whole thing is somewhat orchestrated.
  13. It does all scream a bit of publicity stunt by the producer... the BBC are famously good at keeping things like this out of the limelight. Especially as it seems to be more of a LeCoque fight (according to the most current gossip reports). So for a relatively small thing like this to be so public, its quite abnormal. I hope the producer gave as good as he got though... its so refreshing to find people who aren't afraid of all the PC bull. Let them have scrap an then afterwards if they're actually men, they'll be down the bar drinking and laughing about it for the rest of the day.
  14. Hmmm, this will blow over. The beeb are just losing all their viewers by cancelling the show.
  15. Ha yeah, got the rest of it arriving in the next few weeks. It will be a bit of tank Ryzza... hopefully it'll last the whole summer.
  16. The BBC is separate from the government... calling the license fee a tax gives the wrong impression of what it is and does.
  17. I'm a big fan of the BBC... having it publicly funded with no adverts allows them to create some very good programming and importantly allows their news stories to be unbiased by their sponsors agendas. Happy to pay... TG is pretty rubbish when its on Dave with adverts. They cut out so much of the show. On Topic: Looking forward to seeing Gillian Anderson in TG this weekend. Hammond was on Radio 2 (BBC) and said its not as car'y as last week... so if you didn't like the Peugeot segment last week you'll be writing to the DailyMail complaining about it.
  18. That "new" R8 looks exactly the same. Audi are as bad as Aston for designing the same car over and over and over again. The AM Vulcan is pretty Bugly too:
  19. I was pissing myself during the Peugeot segment... Peed my knickers again today watching it again. Just to back up their gloriously generalised claim of Peugeot owners, the only 2 crashes I've ever had, have been while at was at the wheel of Peugeots. Only realised that last night, which made the whole thing even funnier. Good show. I really hope they can get La Ferrari, P1 and 918 on the track for a proper traditional thrash.
  20. Full set of power flex bushes for the front of my 159 Plus fitting and 4 wheel alignment.
