i dunno....i might have missed the point but...aren't there 2 British Independent dealerships? or even 3 with the megapack? i assume its the one up north? with the 2 Mclarens and the farboud and whatnot, or is it the southern one with the caterham and the nobles and lotus? seeing as i'm in group 2 i thought i'd better clear this up :P

nice to see a reply so quick :D and yeah i know for a fact that TalkTalk is crap.... but obviously dad won't listen to that so... anyway what modem are you running Reaper? i know the belkin stuff is good, as i say never let me down yet.

right basically for the past... ooh...2 years i reckon, i've been playing TDU with a, lets be honest, crap internet connection. so.... i'm thinking "hmm maybe its time to get it sorted once and for all" basically the problem is this. when playing TDU the game runs fine, not much lag, and tbh i'm usually quite happy cruising by myself listening to some music or something. BUT... when i do want to cruise with friends, i find it annyoing to say the least that i can connect to only one of them with a RED connection i.e. Good... the other 6 players are in white text i.e. Bad.... i have a Huawei SmartAX MT882 modem and a Belkin wireless router.... the belkin thing i reckon is flawless tbh... never let me down so far. the problem is with the MT882, supplied "lovingly" by TalkTalk....(*cough* yes i know but its dad who pays the bills so its dads choice which service we're on...even though i use it 10x more than him and know pretty much every problem inside out) so my question is this.... what setups do those of you who have really good connections i.e. 7 other players in RED, have? i think i can persuade my dad to buy almost anything from a computer shop so name the products you're using as this will help me out immensely. i want details, nitty gritty please. i want to be able to march into a computer shop and say "i want this" and have the whole thing sorted completely.....basically i don't want any more hassle...a few niggles with setup is fine but not the problems i have atm. thanks in advance. don't worry iced i can keep up :) just so long as we're not racing cos i tend to push too hard and hit stuff :P but cruising i'm fine with. whats that at the top of the page with me down as 575? because if i'm in the second group i'll take the new murcielago LP640 instead of the 575....just tried it out and fell head over heels in love :P so...definite answer Lambo LP640 unless i'm not allowed it then i'll take the Charger SRT got it? :P PS: do we have to wear our Red noses whilst sat at our PC's? :D

oh right...whoops...forgot about the dino there. didn't see it :P erm..ok then if i'm coming along i'll have to say either the Dodge charger SRT mod (on 300C) or my Jaguar XKR mod (basically an XK with different badges :P)...depends which looks better in red :D i'll check the desirability of the red paint after dinner and report back with a definite answer

i might be able to join in but i must warn you if i can't connect to the guy doing the filming i'll not bother since it'll look pretty crap with 7 cars driving nicely an me with my crap connection hopping along beside. i've always had a useless connection to the servers, basically i see one car in red and the rest are bad connections. :( but if i'm coming along i'll bring my 575 maranello :D hopefully hit the 2000 miles marker with it (at 1701 now lol) PS: this is on PC right? cos if not...i'll shut up about now :P

heres my mod for the Jaguar XK coupe and convertible. both have been given the same treatment. List of mods: headlight surrounds (black) rear lights (darkened colour) Jaguar badge (front, now green tint) front indicators (colour still orange though different shade) Rims (from XKR already ingame, painted black) Also suggest use of S71NG3R's Spyker C8 sound mod. from STALKER: Clear Sky...which, before anyone says otherwise, is a very good game. i've had no problems whatsoever so far and the only things i can say are bad about it are the slow walking pace because of a lack of artifacts to help with stamina and also the stupid amount of walking you have to do to get out of the swamp at the beginning. Apart from that, the game is great however not quite as good as the first one STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl. sorry for the "rant", just wanted to defend the game before someone shot it down...as has happened before :)

Awesome! i LOVE this car.... just been driving the Roadrunner and that too is ace. glad to see that someone is up for adding more muscle cars in TDU. all we need now is someone to make Steve McQueen's 1968 'Bullitt' mustang, then we could attempt a remake of the chase! :D p.s. - glad its replacing the Charger Super Bee. i do like the SB but i'd prefer this :)
