TDU-RAZOR

ok come on man i dont mind helping people but if you want to make yourself look daft (no problem) allow me ... 1) you have original TDU and BOX with proper CDKEY and installed it 2) you admit you havent played it much, but this admission means it was installed 3) you claim to have misplaced your actual CD but still have the CDKEY 4) so with tdu installed on HDD why would you need to download the files ? you would be in the same boat if you downloaded them again as you will still have only the files and no CD regardless of your CDKEY !!! in plain english you need a new CD which you buy from the SHOPS or from DIGITAL DOWNLOAD or BREAK THE LAW by using another menthod of launching the game.

It does say that yes, you could try get them for false advertising - personally dont recommend it. Firstly very expensive :eek: and then you wont win the case anyway based on my next comment. the entire object on that site is a flash obect, and so its built for all versions of TDU and using flash means its both interactive and covers all platforms by using the same pages/information. it is misguiding of course, but also very easy to overlook, and on top of this it doesnt state which platform it refers too, nor does it even confirm it to one platform. its nearly 2008, and unless you get a download package in the next few weeks, this is also untrue :(

You already been answered on official forums, you cant - you have to buy another copy of TDU or break the law (which cant play online anyway) so they you have it... christmas round the corner write a letter to santa :)

well EA seem to have gone for the pay for additional content route and by doing so have taken the first step into beating off Atari's Target Market. They now officially behind the front runners. http://www.gametrailers.com/player/28944.html And yes its been hacked already. But.. they still released it. and im sure they will gain from it and ok it was already hidden in the game already, but.. it would have took next to no time to make when compared with another fresh game in the series. Are atari going to take the leap forward now ??? Hope so :)

Well if the folders gone, not much we can do fella... use save protector in the tdu toolkit (www.wolfs-hideout.co.uk) or manually backup your TDU Folders at regular intervals. If you already have a backup copy and paste that back into my docs. then use the reg fixer if needed... its not too bad starting over mate, use bookmarks and you will be surprised :) just how easy it is to get back on your feet.

press the headlight button then pause - photo mode spin around to the front of your car and the game is paused with the lights on whilst not having to depress the key. also if you wish to drive around the island with lights on permantly then goto options > online > turn off allow instant challenges.. then goto key config and alter the key for flash headlights to something like / on the numpad and use something small and heavy to hold that key down whilst you drive around forcing the lights to be on all the time. note*** if you press t to chat to someone it will cancel the lights, and you will have to release and then redepress the key again

nope some cars are like that - konigsegg (hate that car) takes for ever to stop and spins out when over revved far to easy. just keep praticing fella... UNLESS your joypad has a profiler, might have some sliders to adjust for the analouge pressure, etc...

i have started many new profiles, and it seems theys a problem with servers and fresh accounts with this type of bug, i cannot figure out why it happens. Yet for every one of my like 30ish or so fresh accounts, freezing and crashing has happened on every single one of them. However an hour into the game at least stops all of those bugs. it really is strange, but see for yourself start a new profile and you will get the same freezes and bugs, etc :)

many reasons for it - im not saying they never ever planned for dlc, but after 1 year i dont believe they was meant to be... as for the button, they just didnt remove it, you could ask the same question why did they remove the F40, etc from the trade function with the patch - why not just leave it there ? who knows how the mind works

At first the patch made no difference to me... but within a few weeks of the patch being released 2 things happened to me 1) i got some 5.1 surround speakers 2) nvidia released driver update for my gpu then, all of a sudden tdu was improved and ran with full settings, but the new speaker system i got also now gave me the lose of engine sound when looking behind. also havent crashed or lost profile since patch, which use to happen to me every 30mins or so. so in all i would have to say patch worked but doesnt fix everything...

theres a map included on your disc in the extras folder (just browse the cd) you can use the bookmark installer on the TDU_Toolkit, as a nav tool www.wolfs-hideout.co.uk

i recommend getting a g25 if you can though - you wont regret it, apart from when logitech produce the g26 and ebay fills up with 2nd hand g25 that you cant get rid off :)

When the game re-directs you for patch update, be sure to manually close the game before appying the patch. or you will run into problems again :@)

it means one thing only the mole wants to make it clear the rumours that the information was not given to any newspaper therefore the original posters claims are incorrect. the mole will always talk official waffle, like a prime minister. you have to read between the lines. if tony blair promised you a better NHS system would you believe it after a 1year term in office already ? Atari never promised dlc for pc users at any point, pc users assumed that they wud get it as xbox360 users got it, its been a year now and still none (my adivce forget about it) at least your not the only one who fell for it :) after all atari wont stop you from thinking it, if thats what you want to think as it helps sell more copies... but sell them on your misguided facts than their promise . . .

RE: dlc content i dont know why im answering the question, as i dont for 1second actually believe that dlc was ever going to be released on the pc version. The answer to your question is simple, you cant stop some hacker abusing it, but i think you already knew this. same as you cant stop the single player version of tdu itself from being cracked, etc. but this happens with every title and it doesnt stop developers releasing the game anyway. and lets be honest games are being cracked these days before they hit the shelves, for example crysis... but yes i would pay for it - prefer it in disc format myself rather than d.load Heres another question along the same lines... No one has been able to prevent cheating in any title, would this stop you as a developer cashing in by releasing a game ?

Hi folks, recieved an invite to come here and say hello long time ago. However working on the toolkit didnt really have much time for browsing other sites, etc. But since we made the decision to discontinue out support with tdu i got more time to come over here and annoy you :)
