Mine started as on, I turned if off on day one, then noticed later on another day that it was disabled from being turned on (probably a pre-release licensing thing). Didn't pay a lot of attention to the radio but it seemed pretty good and I didn't notice any repeats in 1 hour.

Exploring down south - with a Level 5 police chase towards the end (includes chopper) Trying to get past a bit of an obstacle And an awesome bit of coastal road (/TDU1 feels)

Trying running it at 60FPS then, it adds to the sense of speed and makes inputs more precise.

Not as amazing as the small size of the parcel used to deliver it :p

Besides cost it probably won't make that much difference If it is sold on Steam, launching it will open the uPlay launcher first anyway, plus your in-game friends list are your uPlay friends. If you buy it direct on uPlay, it can easily be added to Steam and you can use all of Steam's integration such as chat and screenshots.

I've seen more professional ads on Ch 31 (Melbourne community channel) :lol: Was that 'mansane' person Ambrose? I knows he's done something similar in V8SC before

Good point, although I figured this whole thread was essentially a spoiler (and titled as such). This beta period ends on Friday. There will be more - announcements on exact dates are pending.

Try adjusting your speed sensitivity setting Dirt spec has less grip on tarmac so is slightly better, only problem is (in the Camaro) you lose 6th gear and the top speed is reduced. I did get gold. Will upload tomorrow. Uploading some races with Route909 global champ GhostRacerGTI today. Since the game options weren't saving all of my choices re. controls - I edited the settings directly in the config file in Documents\The Crew. While I was there I raised the FPS Cap to 60. This made the cutscenes blurry and some engine/siren audio a bit wobbly but it greatly improved the sense of speed and made input more responsive. Of course you need a great PC to do that, even mine lost a few FPS in the mountains. I'm liking the miscellaneous awards/achievements. Some I've found include: [spoil]Leapfrog - jump over 3 players Jump over a train Jump over a moving train Find the giant cow (drive under it) Overtake 40 cars in 30 seconds in New York (lane splitting skills yo!)... although I unlocked this in LA :lol:[/spoil]

You horrible man :evil: I like the police chases in this game, and how they work online. Take note that if you're on my friends list and you get yourself into a chase, I will be playing on the cops team :p Switching to Dirt spec makes the car a little more loose in its handling but then you lose 6th gear and a fair whack of your top speed. There's still no ability to power oversteer mid-corner like in TDU1 (unless you go into full doughnuts mode from standstill) I like how certain highway lighting and Las Vegas can be seen for miles ahead at night.

I can confirm that there is no 'club' list like in previous TDU games. You just rock upand form crews with whoever you want that's online at the time and leave when you want. You could be in 10 different crews in one sitting.

I feel totally safe with what I read from IvT. Maybe we're seeing 'Diablo logic' from another angle? :lol:

Which tells me someone has to rock up to work and manually check the list of Ubi accounts to launch the beta and find them in the forums to grant them access.
