Yes it does switch (one of the ini files has a number you can edit to speed up or slow down the time scale of day/night).

You're onto something there guys - reckon you could create you own dirt roads in TDU so that we have new roads to explore, in effect?

Looks nice, but why do you have to put it on RapidShare - there are so many other places you can use that don't make you wait 45 secs to download stuff.

You have to be careful with that, Diablo. Having heaps of fonts can really slow down your PC and certain programs (esp. Adobe CS3).

Does anything change when you go into the Carwash by swapping files with the Real Estate spot? If you recorded that and put it on YouTube with the Car Wash song, you could attract a bit more attention to your fantastic mods :)

Keep up the great work. As soon as I replace my faulty mobo on this new PC I'll be using some of these mods for sure. Shame we have to use the bnk editors though. Maybe if I get some time I can make installers for these mods for you if you like using NSIS.

Hi everyone

I'm a TDU PC Hardcore mode fan with a G25 looking for more people to cruise with in the mornings (evening Australian time) since the official Atari EU forums are dying a slow and painful death.

I'm into IT and music production and love driving as well, with a large racing game collection to go along with that.

Currently drive a white AE92 Toyota Corolla 1.6L TwinCam which is nice and light, not particularly fast but is still good fun in the twisties since I've put some nice grippy tyres on it. Haven't touched it besides darkest legal window tinting and the obligatory MP3/WMA CD player.

Pencil me in for PC as well.

I haven't had any probs with the damage mod - and it would be a real shame if it did result in banning? By account banning you mean that one account is stuffed so you just create a new one in TDU? How many people got banned - because I still want to use it.

Granted it works like a trainer - but it has the complete opposite purpose of a normal trainer. No advantages - just the opposite. All it does is change engine sounds when you crash a bit, and it turns off your engine and prevents you from starting your engine when you crash at high impact.

You also have more realistic (harder) handling and grip off road. If you drop the clutch (G25 owners) and floor it - you'll find your back wheels spinning but not going very far.

Other than that good topic. You don't really need separate walthroughs for XP/Vista - I have Vista and it's exactly the same method.

Hopefully I'll be able to come up with some good weather mods that you can post here too some time in the future.
