Are you referring to TDU SC or one of the older games?  For SC the developers have let us know they are working on fixing this, but we'll have to be patient in the meantime.

Did anyone try out the PS5/XB preorder beta?

Is the handbrake connected via the steering wheel or via a separate USB port? Older games only support one controller at a time.

Is this what happens when we block their ability to post spam on the forums?

It's common among forum software to prevent/merge multiple posts from the same author to prevent sending too many notification emails, inflate post counts, and generally spammy behaviour.  I'm not certain how long you have to wait between your posts to avoid it.

Yes, with a catch. As per the installation instructions, you are advised to sell all of your vehicles except for the Alfa Romeo GT (starter vehicle) before installing Platinum.

You may choose to ignore this instruction but might experience glitches or crashes.

Have you used your controls to turn on the radio while driving?  I.e. does it display which song is playing?  Go to options, controls and look for radio volume up so you know what to press while driving.

Have you scanned for viruses or checked to see if your security software is preventing other programs and games from saving to your documents folder?

What if you manually create the the TDU folders in your documents directory and check the read only permissions for those?

Yes, just duplicate the game folder before installing platinum and make another desktop shortcut if desired.

It toggles if the camera should pan left/right gradually or immediately.

Did you keep the installation files for the first version of Platinum; you can manually copy what you need from there.

As part of the installation process you will download the original Platinum mod then update it with patches.  So just copy the weather files from the original mod folder and paste into your game directory in the same subfolder (Euro\BNK\FX).

The gold version doesn't always play nice with mods.  If you use Platinum then you won't need the mega pack

It vibrates the controller akin to how the FFB on the wheel works, so it's not really how you "expect" it to be. The question then becomes if we can remap how FFB works in the game to a more "traditional" controller style (e.g., wheel slip/road surface/bumps). Also enables you to use brake and gas at the same time if you have the triggers mapped.
