Can't wait? The game has been out for over a year?  Or are you a bot?

Create an offline profile and you'll be fine then.

Connect to any vpn server for the first time playing online in a new profile on the community server.  Central European servers tend to work well.  Proton vpn has a free tier.

Did you install the game before the mod?

Driving Aid refers to the traction/stability control systems

Please press Esc, Options, Controls and check the final tab for changing gears manually.

I'm not sure about the pop in, the game was made for old spinning disks so unless your ssd is full or faulty I wouldn't expect it to be the issue. Maybe check task manager for other processes like virus scans.

That assumes your monitor doesn't exceed 60Hz.

Go to the Program settings tab, add TDU to the list, and configure this setting, limit to 60

A lot of games from that time struggled with alt+tab recovery.  Download and configure an app called Borderless Gaming to workaround the issue.

It doesn't matter as the files will be replaced.

Just grab the exe and ignore the other files.

You can keep your savegame with Platinum, although they recommend selling cars before using it to avoid potential crashes.

TDU Platinum includes a no dvd patch.

Use the nvidia or amd control panel to limit the fps for the game to 60.  You can force higher AA multiplier (ie 16x) while you're there. Get rid of djvoodoo, you don't need it.  

dgvoodoo shouldn't be required.

I've played on PC.  It's.... ok as a random open world driving game. But yeah, unfinished, lacking some basic TDU features such as delivery missions.  There's nothing to do besides race and explore.

I got to level 37 and am still waiting for the first patch before continuing with supercars.

At least the physics are decent, besides landing large jumps. Wheel support is a little iffy atm, hopefully will improve.

The whole ranking/seasonal grind simply doesn't appeal to me, but others may be more into it.

There's potential if they can recover from the reviews without being shut down by their publisher. Again.

Install TDU

Copy the game folder and paste as a duplicate backup

Install Platinum

Copy the music files from your backup folder and replace in the Platinum folder

Are you referring to TDU SC or one of the older games?  For SC the developers have let us know they are working on fixing this, but we'll have to be patient in the meantime.

Did anyone try out the PS5/XB preorder beta?

Is the handbrake connected via the steering wheel or via a separate USB port? Older games only support one controller at a time.

Is this what happens when we block their ability to post spam on the forums?
