  1. Get your license then YOU can be doing the driving! And no, I won't stop bothering you until you learn how to drive you halfwit!
  2. Hello! Ah someone else from Norway. I wish I lived there sometimes.

  3. Feeling a bit down atm, so decided to go through some old photos and found this absolute gem! Keith from the Morgan garage I had work experience at last summer. That man knows everything about Morgans. Seriously, part numbers included. He would tell me to go and get him something from their parts bit, by giving me a 6 digit code. Great guy. And I did another version of the Chimney pic, as I was converted into thinking that the HDR didn't quite work on it. I think this looks much better: -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) --
  4. ^ Thanks. It is HDR, but I didn't want to overdo it, just enhance the photo a little :p @ Austin Powers: Yeah, but thats kinda one reason I don't [want to]. You sit in the crowd, and get the same pics as everyone else. Sure they are nice, but they really are all the same. I will hopefully go out on a photo session with a mate of mine who owns a few cars (one of which there are only 3 of in the world - he is currently refurbishing it to match the other two). That will be in the summer though, but for now, even though I live close to Brands Hatch, I don't necessarily want to go there unless I am in the pits or whatever.
  5. Uh, it always is... :p So just for you, yes!
  6. Something I took today. I wish I could be bothered to go out and take photos of interesting things, not rubbish pics of my neighbours chimney... :p -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) --
  7. Nice photo! And good to see a photo rather than 'Oh I'll take one later' :p Possibly would be better if you had been outside, without fingerprints on the window, but still a very nice pic!
  8. They still don't look right. What I do is ALWAYS match the perspectives and angles between the two photos (the one you are modding and the car the exhausts or whatever are from). That way, only a tiny bit of tweaking is needed, and it looks a lot better. Go and try it with different exhausts not from a straight back photo.
  9. ^ Its not an iPhone. And it never would be, because the iPhone is O2 only in the UK. It would be brilliant if it was true, but it was a nice idea for an ad rather than your standard 'Hamilton endorses this phone' boring one.
  10. It needs a better perspective. Use the 'Perspective' or 'Distort' feature of transformations on PS - make the left hand side of the exhaust bit shorter. Then use the 'Skew' one to match it to the car. Play around a bit.
  11. In the UK, Drive.
  12. What on earth is that??? Seriously, how could the Capri name be thrown onto such a hideous pile of cow excrement??? I don't get the US and AUS markets sometimes.
  13. I never thought a TV advert would have this effect on me. I found these guys after seeing an ad for their new album. Excellent stuff! Starsailor - Tell Me It's Not Over
  14. Haha no. Seriously, Porsches could not say 'I am having a mid-life crisis' more. Oh wait they can, its called a convertible Porsche. Personally, I would say either of these will work for men. I would rather have the latter though, but obviously I would not say no to the first :p -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- And then this. I think that no woman should ever be seen near one of these. Beautiful piece of engineering. -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) --
  15. And the difference is...? I use my in-ear ones for general use. I also got them to replace my iPod buds, and I am very glad I did. The only thing that has ever gone wrong with them, is I pulled them apart too hard so broke the glue that keeps the wires together, but even after many years of wear and tear they still sound brilliant.
  16. I have a set of Sennheiser CX300s. They are quite cheap, but they are the base model - I'm sure the ones up are better. My only gripe with them is that as they are in ear ones, the bass can start to take over sometimes, but mostly they're fine, and that can depend on the bitrate of the track and the EQ etc - the changes are just amplified a bit with these. I would say these for sport, as they won't fall out all the time when running etc. It takes a bit to get used to them, but really thats only a couple of days, then non-in-ear ones feel funny :p. They also do keep plenty of sound out. Edit: According to people who own them, the CX95s are very good. I don't see why you want 2 sets of headphones though. If one was for gaming, then I would understand, but I don't get why you need a different pair for 'sport' to 'general use'.
  17. Come on people! We can get more entries than this!
  18. I've recently found this to be...hmmm...epic. I think the best ever performance of Citizens Erased by Muse. Done at Glastonbury in 2004. I wish I could have been there. The ending is a little trivial - after the song they play the Take A Bow riff, 2 years before it was released.
  19. 1) Grammar good yours are. 2) I've updated it, but you can't take much of the noise out. Thats how it comes. And yes my ISO was on its lowest.
  20. Bumpety Bump. Something I took today. Its a Blu-Ray with a DVD. I love the way that you can clearly see the difference in detail.
  21. This is my entry for now. I will probably change it, but I thought I'd get something in now. That was straight out of the camera.
  22. That car is weird. It has no sense of speed, so even though I went in a black Spider, it still felt like we were going relatively slow. I'd rather have a Morgan, as its just more exciting.
  23. HTF I said I was thinking about introducing that rule. Enter what you like, but I think that this contest should not be any different from things like the PTOTW one by which you [should] take the photo after the theme is set. Taking photos to a theme is harder and more developing that matching that theme to a photo.
  24. I will make it clear, It would be much preferred if the subject of the photo was light, and as I said, to make people go out and take photos for the theme. I may want to set a rule whereby you must take the photo during the contest time, which means that there will be no 'finding flukes in your archives'.
