Yeah I Installed TDU, ran it up, put the *Wrong CD* Game Key in, installed the Megapack. Entered the Megapack Key fine. Uninstalling now. Just hope it clears all the cache out so that I can re-enter my Game CD Key Uninstalled - Found all the hidden files with the CD Code in there. Deleted. Reinstalling, Fingers Crossed. I have 10 hours of nothing to do tonight, Id prefer to be playing rather than problem solving lol

Hey guys. As a lot of you know. Im really good at getting my disks scratched. Anyway. got my rig running etc etc. Loaded up TDU. Installed megpack. Put in my latest Serial Key that I got from an online purchase. Instead of the one that I used when I first registered my account. Now I can't sign in. Im guessing If I uninstall TDU and all the registry so once I reinstal it asks for me a code, I should be able to put my old one in (Which I still have), enter my normal details and I should be able to sign in? I can't sign into Atari.com Have gone to gamespyid.com and signed in but theres nothing real helpful around there. Any help? Thanks :)

That part was me referring to Basically replace both Plate.2db & ws_plate.2db inside BNK Editor with the new .2db files that will be created by the DDS>2DB Convertor? :) BTW Sorry I meant BNK Editor not Bikedit :P

Lol ok I'll give it another go :) Download all 3 tools. You make your jpeg. Save as DDS in *Tutorial shown format* Save as plate.dds ? Close jpeg Open jpeg Filter > Nvidia Tools > Apply the filter press OK as shown in tutorial Save as ??? plate.dds or ws_plate.dds? Open Bikedit - Extract the 2 original files from TDU, Open modding program & Convert both images. Go back to Bikedit - Replece both plate.dds & ws_plate.dds with new created images. This is right ain't it? :p

So I decided at giving making a plate a go, created the image in photoshop, saved them successfully (i think) coverted them and added them. My DDS files come out looking the same as the tutorial which is a good sign. But in the game they look like this. -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) --[/ Which obviously isn't wright :oook: Could someone have a stab at where they think I've gone wrong :) Thanks! My basic image is there, believe it or not but its just not displaying right.

City - 45-55 fps Country - 40-55fps Unscenic places 75fps Never hits below 40 now tho! :D

Well im back on XP now, an so Are my fps! :D:D I can now play at 1440 x 900 8AA 8AF + HDR :):excited: I forgot to save my game tho :eek_blue: :bananamad:

Alright people Im not sure if this is a 'problem, but its sure annoying, Ive been playing for about 5 days, an accepted / requested to be friends with around 8 players. All have been accepted by me or them, but whenever I go into the club locations it always shows as "Friends list Empty" :eek_blue::oook: Whats happening! :bananamad:

Not sure if this' been posted before in the thread, haven't looked through it all yet but do other players online see these custom plates? & Iced your work is awesome!!! :bananaskip:

Wow, You're on XP aswell. This has to just be a Vista thing, cos all my other games run great at 30fps, Except TDU.. I remember running at 1440 x 900 4AA with my 640 88GTS a while back. Its like the only time I don't get stutter is when im at 75FPS rock solid! (Max refesh rate) I can go down to even mid 50's an this stutterness comes around :eek_blue:....Mainly to do with tree's. Its not teh typical old TDU .5s lag every so often....this is constant .1s lag every .1/2s, an it only happens when cornering....or theres a lot of tree's in scene. Because of this stutter Its extremely hard to steer, when I dip to 40 below the stuttering starts to affect the steering. theres a small lag, not huge but its enough to totally mess up a corner or steering correction when theres a car approaching. BTW I've checked my CPU theres no problems there either. XP is deffo being loaded on tonight!

Also, no the game's always as choppy as this, Im running a pretty much stock (Tweaked) Vista installation, an I delete radial every time I exit the game. Just found this, http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/nvidia-geforce-9600-gt,1780-8.html Trying to find out what O.S was being used for them FPS, I bet it wasn't vista :P Gonna go back to a Single XP Installation. Vista's been out what, a year an a half now? Yet in the majority of games its still miles behind XP :mad:

Hey guys. Running TDU with a OCed 9600GT & E6400 (3.44) on a 19" Asus Wide LCD. Game gets pretty choppy at 1280×720. HDR Enabled. 0AA 0AS. Max Settings. Runs between 30-75fps. All my other games are playable at 30-40fps except this one. Get into the scenic foresty routes, the fps drops below 45 an steering becomes a nightmare. Theres input lag, an tree choppyness which makes high speed cornering / drifting so much harder. Does anyone else experiene this :oook: Its so annoying! BTW I can turn off HDR & Play without the choppyness @ 1440 x 900 *Just* But I love my HDR :P...Any Info? TIA :)
