  1. I haven't found any exterior bug for the moment :) It is even better than some TDU-original cars in my opinion. If I have the time, I will make a vid about the best integrated models (Audi TT, your GT-R, Silvia, etc....) --- Oh I remember a small bug with the shadow :ill: A little piece (left side mirror ?) is visible at a few feet from the car. Weird thing....

  5. Yes, you're right in fact. But I don't think there are so many TDU modders after all... Many other games are much more modding-friendly, in those cases it would worth to pay it. Personaly I can't believe Oleg is expecting to gain a lot with TDU. TDU converter is still @ an experimental state. Import-export still have some bugs (it's a very young feature !). Some Lambo models are corrupted when importing, as you've discovered a few days ago. If much more people would be able to test a full TDU support in free version, maybe that could help Oleg to find out bug and fix them. My 2 cents.
  6. Detailed interiors are pure and rare jewels. I'm not surprised TDU costed a lot to the studio ! I don't know any game which has so detailed interior models. A solution would be to modify existing model, which would be pretty near... But for the proto, a similar interior does not exist in-game (GTR R34 one seems to be too old to fit.... would 350Z one suit better ?)
  7. This Skyline GT-R sound is pretty realistic, and fits well with this Proto. It just needs some tuning on samples as glitches are noticeable @ hi-rpms, an off-load sound seems to be too highly pitched also. http://www.geocities.com/hkvideogamer/tdu.html On the other hand, anyone interested in making exterior HUD's ? :)

  9. Ok. So you'll need to edit the files into CLK_DTM_I.BNK with ZModeler. But to do that you'll have to get the full version (or ask someone to convert files to z3d for you). After that, you will be able to change materials in interior then export your model to TDU back.
  10. 2DM files are from a proprietary format and need a custom tool to open them. At the moment, only ZModeler can import, along with 2DB and 3DD/3DG for car models.

I advise you to get the latest and fix your MAP again. Current Key revision: 154 2 existing entries are fixed (were swapped - all my apologies) - Euro\Bnk\Vehicules\TT_Cpe_QS.bnk - Euro\Bnk\Level\Hawai\Area-7\Area-7-8\Sector-7-8-5-2

  19. Tool is right. Everyone has different tastes he can't satisfy ! Personaly, I would want to keep the Gallardo SE as the Gallardo Coupe is pretty basic in comparison. My 2 cents. After it's up to each person to replace according his needs/taste. There are tools to do that now... do you need tutos to ?
  20. Thanks. I will stay updated about that. I'm going to test if Bnk1.map can be modified when game is running. If it's the case, I will give you all the info you need about the map format; in order to include it into your tool. A tiny app to organize these different slots could be handy too. Another person could make it as it's just "copy files and create directories" stuff :) ++

Moreover would it be possible to define with a simple user interface : which cars to replace, by which modded files (exterior, interior, huds, sounds) and assign keys (or use F1 > F12 for example) ? In game, press F2 : a "RS4 replaced by TT 2008" custom message appears. Go to the garage and TT 2008 is there - pressing F2 again later puts the RS4 back :) We'll have to cope with the filesizes problems, but once this feature mixed with MAP Tool, possibilities are endless ! Let's hope Bnk1.map can be modified when TDU is running... I haven't tested yet in fact.
  23. If you're searching for encrypted files, just open DB.BNK. There are many of them... sure it's crucial information. DB_US, FR etc... are mostly translations and permit only some file swappings, but it's very limited.
  24. Ok... hope he'll come and help us. But I am wondering how did he find exactly the car position, speed, etc... into the memory. For the moment I've only found the player names and their distance. :( (there must be advanced tools to do that). The only moment where data is readable is when the game is running. Not very handy....
  25. You don't know Davilex games ? how lucky you are. So don't mind. And yes, I think they can be used. But these are no-name cars likely.
