  1. Loooooll Not these aren't pictures of his Mom ! I guess he wanted to say more. I know the problem, it's due to lgt_r_on texture, which is used when you turn on headlights. There are already many visual bugs on TDU cars because of this texture.
  2. Maybe it could interest a modder. For the moment, we aren't very numerous, sadly.
  3. Anyway, I'm sure that advanced users will be so clever to install files with the old method. :cheeky: So no problem. Thanks tool831 to put the mods to average-user level... it's not an easy task.
  4. what a pity about glasses and doors. TDU is not like every racing game, thanks to these little details.
  5. Thanks. It's even @ 44% now, still a long way to do. As this mod isn't just a "3D mod"; I'm planning to work on HUDs and engine sound too :p
  6. I did this because of the modded F612 sound, which is just a bit louder than the original.. which is not a so big deal anyway.
  7. I don't know the Veyron model at all, but I think it's just a matter of UV settings to reduce it to a "standard" size. Have you talked with BasBas about that ? (should be more than easy for him to fix it ).
  8. Concerning number plates, no matter what car you replace, modder is free to add a plate where he likes :) (I've just added a front plate on Alfa GT)
  9. Once again... respect ! awesome model
  10. Changes tonight : - front license plate - rounded glasses - rear cover plate in construction [imglink]http://www.zimagez.com/miniature/20080903003102.jpg[/imglink] [imglink]http://www.zimagez.com/miniature/20080903003144.jpg[/imglink] [imglink]http://www.zimagez.com/miniature/20080903003230.jpg[/imglink] Have a good night
  11. Finally ! I'm going to work on the Alfa GT :) Just the time to have a dinner before, then go !
  12. Yes very clear. In fact you're not the only person to use succesfully the BNK Tool to replace files, whereas I didn't test it much and dropped its development ages ago ! I'm suprised. At the moment (1.4), File Browser knows how to replace a file into a BNK - just like BNK Editor. Thus by truncating/filling files when needed : To open a BNK file : - either by choosing a file in TDU's hierarchy - either by "drag and drop" a BNK file to BNK Manager area (lower right corner) To replace files by bigger/lighter ones without altering them (the BNK Size will be updated too), you'll have to wait for 1.5 version - about which I gave plannings above. And yes, File Browser is silent and more convenient when working on files :D Please have a look at the guide for more details : http://syfworld.free.fr/tdu/files/Guide-1.4/
  13. lol, let me finish this one, we'll talk about Brera later. (thanks to a generous person, I have the Brera's z3d now ) Anyway if I have enough time to start working on a new mod, it will be certainly another Alfa :) --- in french, we say "Rouler en Brera Spider et mourir" == "Just ride a Brera Spider then die". :D
  14. Tool, could you be more precise about what you expect of MAPTool ? For example, - do you want the Bnk1.map updates automatically when the BNK file size changes ? - are you using BNK Tool to create bigger files without truncating contents ? - are you using File Browser ? As I'm planning to remove BNK Tool, it's full of bugs and very user-unfriendly. File Browser and BNK Editor will suit your needs I think. Please.
  15. Up ! I had not much time to work on it this evening. But I've achieved to change exhausts ! [imglink]http://www.zimagez.com/miniature/20080902000827.jpg[/imglink]
  16. Actual solution is not very convenient I must reckon :( User has to launch MAP Tool to patch his own file control system. As everyone can install and mod files they want, a standard Bnk1.map file can't be included to the archive. A better solution would be to develop a little tool, that silently updates the Bnk1.map. The creator of the mod only need to give to this soft the entry and size to modify with each user... but in that case if people want to replace another car, he can't guess it.
  17. Yes I can (in fact, MAP Tool can) , but it depends which car you intend to replace. For some cases it could be automatic, for others, it needs more investigation. I will store results to complete the database :) Please make requests and I will study case-by-case (as I did for the Veyron replacements)
  18. Okay, I understand how it's working now. I agree to have rights onto the original post.
  19. I'm figuring you jumping across your room  :D
  20. Thumbs up, Tool
  21. Ok. But I haven't the time to provide duplicate links as Iced does every time for example. I have already to update the project home page @ tdu.fr. The best solution would be that we'd maintain the topic together. Thanks. A few facts : - Some bugs fixed - GUI enhancements (less annoying messages) - MAP Tool more convenient - Database editor - New replace functions (doesn't cut / fill anymore) - ...
  22. Yes, a nitro-Vespa. lol
  23. :bananahello: 1.5 version's approaching ! This time there will be a public beta only. Release for September the 8th. :sclin:
