This week is brimming with excellent submissions, each with thier very own greatness to them. It's a tough choice... And so there are certain aspects of multiples submissions which I really like, for example: Ace8's reflections InVo's Coloring MANTE84's drifting EmKill's image sharpness iQuit©'s action shot EyeKatcher's atmosphere 5pt0JoeSHO's unique presentation DAMIAX's camera angle/lighting But overall, what picture would look best as the top-banner of the site?, I ask myself, as the winner will ultimately be awarded such a high honor I find it's best pick a photo with that in mind, especially when you're stuck between 7-8 entries, like me this week. :D I have to pick Jensen's submission, for overall lighting, angle, presentation, atmosphere, and image quality/sharpness all seem to be a great candidate for Forum-Top banner for a few weeks. Plus, and those winding roads you can spot really give a sense of depth to the photo. That's my opinion and reasoning. Great submissions to everyone! Very hard to pick a vote this week. The Ferrari is such a beautiful brand, the F430 and Scuderia variant's are SUCH ELEGANT vehicles. :D ----- PS. Because, I scrapped the Jaguar pic, and bought back my Miuria doing some Mountain Drifting from earlier today. :D Check out the rest of the Drift Session in my updated Photomode thread. Man, i wish i could pick more than 1 entry. I like the action in my current pic, but i like the atmosphere and sense of realism in some of my other pics. Plus I love sweet Reflections. The reason the smoke looks like that is because he obviously brightened the whole photo via using levels and since the smoke was already a bright color, that happened to it. what he should do if he still has the original, is isolate the smoke and only brighten what he needed to brighten. There, problem solved. You brighten the dark-as-hell Stock TDU pic, keeping the smoke unaltered.

Wow, now that picture looks fantastic. I could see this on the front page.

I understand the plus side to being able to match up numbers and more ease of use when voting. But I'm not speaking of ease of use for voters, but on behalf of the ease for Speed to manage the thread if he makes a mistake. : ) Just in regards to retaining the order of pictures to be the same as the order in the Submission thread. IE: The entrance order. I understand the downside to voters if you do not number the Pictures in the thread. But it's a balanced Compromise, as it would make post-formatting editing of the Pictures Order (such as moving around pictures or adding in missing ones where they belong) without the added hassle of having to completely Renumber them all. It's basically a give-and-take situation. Voters give up some of thier comfort and ease of voting, to gain Speed much more comfort and Ease of POTW Thread management. ---- And about the poll editing, I believe you misunderstood some of my post. I never suggested that he edit the poll alongside the pictures in the thread. In fact I deliberately mentioned not editing the poll (as I know how difficult it can be to edit a poll once posted.) Remember, I only suggested not numbering the pictures in the thread posts and leaving the poll alone. In my opinion the order of the poll does not matter. ---- Allow me to state my reasoning, if someone was first to submit a photo and his picture was missing and then added later to the bottom... you can see where it would be unfair to the person who submitted the picture. This is because it is a general routine to post the Pictures in the order in which the users submitted them, the ones who submitted early, get to be on top, and those who submitted later are subsequently below them, all the way until nearing the bottom. :) Just wanted to clear things up.

I understand.If a mistake was made while formatting the poll and the poll thread that is understandable, you are human. But I believe that It's only reasonable that the entries should remain in the order in which they were submitted. Even if it only retains the submission picture order and not the poll voting order. If you did not wish to re-number each entry when a mistake is made, then I don't see it to be unreasonable to suggest that you don't have to number them when posting the Pictures alongside the entrants name in the Poll Thread to begin with. Since there is really no need to, seeing as to vote: matching up the entrants name by the picture and in the poll is enough. Then it would save you both formatting time, and allow you to reorder entries if a mistake is noted after the initial Thread formatting. Just a friendly suggestion that might make your greatly appreciated work of organizing all this, a bit more easy and manageable when mistakes are made. :)

Grin's pic would look fantastic as a site banner if it won, just center is and cut off the top and bottom a bit to fit the banner space. :D By the way, Why am i 56'th down in this thread list when i was the 19th to post a pic back in the thread?

WOW, out of all the hundreds of XBOX 360 games available. Microsoft chose Test Drive Unlimited as one of them. I Notice that the first few games selected for the On Demand Download, are active multiplayer games still played today in high quantities. Rainbow Six Vegas, Call of Duty 2, Burnout Paradise, MX VS ATV and The Need for Speed Carbon and Most Wanted games. :)
