  1. Howdy! It's been a while since I last showed my face around here. I was in the forum looking for new sounds and spotted this little gem! Amazing work bringing that sound into TDU! Especially the supercharger whine. Now if only a similar effect could be done for the S281 Extreme Coupe!!! I just love whiny superchargers! *drool* On a side note, I would download it - but it seems FileFront had an issue with your upload and it's no longer available.
  2. Zonda's do not sound like Viper's in the least bit. The Viper has a larger engine volume than the Zonda and has different valve timing. It's got a gurgle to it when it idles and revs. Here's a real good example of the Viper's sound:
  3. I made a sound not too long ago using recorded sounds from Schumacher's Ferrari Formula 1 car. It was a replacement for the Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale, because at the time I was still working on a sound for that car. I released it because some people heard it online from my mic and wanted it. You should look into it! It's a high quality, but isn't 100% perfect. Since I no longer use the sound or am working with the 360, you might find it useful.:) EDIT:To save you the trouble of having to look for it, I have it hosted here for free and easy download if you're interested. 360 Tubi Sound
  4. Wow, thanks guys! Sorry it took me so long to check in on this thread! I didn't expect so much positive feedback! It make take a while for me to release a new sound because the thing a PC user dreads the most happened recently... I had a bad hard drive malfunction and had to revert to Vista. So I lost everything, and am currently restoring my PC to what it used to be. Hopefully I will be able to continue making high quality sounds! Thanks again for the rep and support! :D
  5. Hey! Thanks for the video for my C6 Z06 sound replacement! It seems that I've gotten a lot of downloads thanks to the little preview you made!

    1. Yes! Corvette C6 Z06's possess a massive 7.0L V8 and the original sound didn't compensate for that. It sounded like a regular C6 Coupe/Convertible. Then again, I did give it a sound that not only sounds like a big V8, but also a tuned V8. Since most of us are probably upgraded, I didn't want to give it a stock sound!
    2. WOW! Thanks guys! Big thanks to Djey for his awesome mod tools that allow me to make such sounds!! :D
    3. Hey, hey! Been a while! Finally got that new sound working! This one took me forever, but I think I finally got it working! No quirks that I've noticed... so far. :D Anyways, as the title suggests, this sound gives the Z06 a heavy grunt. I tried to give it that titanium feel when driving, and a large cam feel when idling. I hope you like it!
    4. Yeah, I'm working on a new sound at the moment. I'll download and use the free version of fraps for a 30 sec. recording so that you can hear it. EDIT: It appears that FRAPS has some major issues nowadays and any of the videos i record using this program can no longer be played. For some reason Windows Media Player, DiX Player, WinAMP, nor Windows Movie Maker can play the clips. If someone else would like to record any of my sounds for this person, please do so! Just remember to credit me with making the sounds.
    5. Well the CCGT has a 5.0 naturally-aspirated DOHC 32-Valve V8 in it. So, there's the reason behind the muscle car sound. If you have heard a CC in person, it would sound very similar to this. Possibly a little lower in tone, but still pretty similar!:)
    6. Hey all! Sorry that I haven't been around lately. Life really takes it's toll on my gaming hobby. Anyways, I brought some good news with me! A new sound mod release! This sound is based around the Koenigsegg CCGT, and the idle sound is recorded directly from the CCGT by me! Enjoy! Note: I'm not sure if it will work with the CC8S, as I haven't tried it. It should work, as the sound files are the same. So those of you who don't have the megapack won't be left out with this release!;)
    7. Yes. the F430 sounds, as they enter the different RPM ranges, are so different that it sounds like it has 3 different engines in it. That makes the car sound really weird. Since i used sounds from a rev for the Aston Martin, the sounds flow together and you don't get that. except for the transfer from low to high. I still don't know why the idle and on/off low rpm sounds are so mute compared to the on/off high rpm sounds. I'm afraid that if I adjust the volume manually it will change the file size and I would have to compress the sound even further, killing the quality.
    8. It's hard to say this, but I failed at making an F430 sound that was of the same quality as the 360 CS and DB9. Because of the way the F430 changes gears, it plays the off_high sound for a short bit and then continues playing the on_high sound causing major annoyance to the player. The problem I have most trouble with this is all 6 of the on and off sounds are drastically different from each other to capture the powerful sound of the F430. The sounds would also randomly glitch and chirp making the overall quality sub par.
    9. Aston Martin DB9 Coupe/Volante sound is now ready! I hope that anyone who downloads this doesn't find it disappointing. Again feedback is much appreciated, and please be constructive with negatives!
