  1. So what doya think....will new plates be like 'TDU 303'? :cheeky::D
  2. Not likely, on official Atari site they stated 'coming fall 2010' http://www.atari.com/news/167 ...and fall begins on September 22nd...;)
  3. hmmm I believe this was not quite correct comparison. This would be it, from about 100km altitude. Of course, I couldn't keep myself from putting Mallorca too. :D http://i231.photobucket.com/albums/ee39/wroomster/TDU2/oahu-ibiza01.jpg http://i231.photobucket.com/albums/ee39/wroomster/TDU2/oahu-majorca01.jpg ;) Terrain configuration on Ibiza is quite calm, alluvial and pretty flat. The highest peak on Ibiza is about 400 meters. That's nothing comparing to Kolekole landscape on Oahu...on the other hand, Mallorca got proper mountain peak, over 1000m.... The only reason I could think of why they went with a much smaller island is to make it more detailed without exceeding the DVD storage limit, but that's only a dead scenery after all. I think smooth and high-poly roads should be much more important than a scenery...
  4. It does make sense, partially. U see, it's not only sum of roads length that matters. For very fast driving (and that's it in TDU, not only fast, but VERY fast driving) u need space, not only lots of roads/streets concentrated in a small area. In fact, Oahu got at least 10 times more roads/streets comparing to the game, but it would be silly if u had a crossroad every few hundred meters like in real life, there would be impossible to drive over 100-150 kmh. So, if u want to keep current gameplay, road net should be similar and it needs lots of space. Would u like to get to another side of the island in like 5-10 minutes? I wouldn't. At least I'm not used to it, so it would be a degradation of the game. I expect a bigger driving area and that's final
  5. Ok maybe they have just used this photo for the quick overview, but this means nothing. I personally don't like both ideas, Ibiza nor enlarged Ibiza. I'm afraid I would be disappointed if that's the case. Anyway we'll see...
  6. Ibiza is too small, much smaller than Oahu. I doubt they enlarged some existing island just to put it in the game, there's no point. This in fact would be just some imaginary location, it would be bad imo. I'd still put my money on Mallorca, anyways I was pretty damn close :D
  7. According to those few shots from the new site, it really looks like some Mediterranean location. My wild guess few months ago was Mallorca, when I saw Top Gear episode with Mallorca Rally last season. This would be the perfect island for TDU2. ;) http://forums.eu.atari.com/showpost.php?p=2141160&postcount=167
  8. uhm...there's nothing at official Atari page  guys where did u see Zonda F?
  9. Well, I've been already virtually gone for some time, but after this...I'M ALIVE AGAIN!! :D Those pictures still look like the first TDU though....

  11. Tell me ONE good reason why this thread is not in 'The Bin'? I mean besides the fact it was opened by You. :snack: I'll use my right to remain silent...this time
  12. I thought so. The only thing that keeping me from gettin' a box is my G25. U can't have it all, I guess....
  13. I've already said this and I'll say it again. I hate u X-boys! :headbang: btw some say driving model in FM3 is crap and just too easy. R they right? Pics r really life like though, no1 can deny it...
  14. Yeah, Rinspeed Bedouin. lovely car  :stinks: lol HTF u got me this time!
  15. Happy Anniversary of your miraculous Birth! Wish you to share with us another century, at least. Old fart, you say, eh? C'mon where's the spirit? You're still a young fart!
  16. What a splendid game! Too bad I'm too busy driving, not much time left for photo mode...:D Anyone here racing online? Leave ur tags here pls! Mine is BobbyVey :welcome:
  17. Play with each other then???:D *smells the bin from a distance* :modwork:
  18. I'm on 23 after a week of playing, but against hard AI, pro level no assists. U can't make much money quickly when u play on hard, there's not many challenges u can easily win. Unfortunately, normal AI level is totally unchallenging, I beat them by half of a lap anytime so I chose hard way. Currently I'm completely addicted to Shift (about 30 hours for last 7 days according to x-fire, which is almost as much as TDU 2 years ago)...:D
  19. Shad I got two more pieces for ur nice collection http://i231.photobucket.com/albums/ee39/wroomster/facepalms/24ae1-Baby-Facepalm-1.jpghttp://i231.photobucket.com/albums/ee39/wroomster/epic_fail_facepalm-1.jpg ;):D
  20. Download seems to be EXTREMELY slow. Any other link? I couldn't find any. EDIT: found it: http://www.bit-composer.com/download/RaceOn%20Demo%20EGFIS.zip about 10 times faster download ;)
  21. Hey DriftKing are u a drift king in Shift also? :D They made it a bit too much realistic if u ask me...just too difficult to be bothered with  eh?
  22. It honestly require a steering wheel. Also, don't expect a game like previous NFS childish games. This one seriously penetrates into the auto moto sim world. If u love racing sims like GTR2, Race07, GTR Evolution rFactor and all these, but they all seems too boring and cheerless, then this could be the game for u. If u don't wanna break a sweat whilst driving, u better skip Shift then. Oh and don't forget to turn all aids off for the full joy....;)
  23. Simply because there's no such a track in the game with long enough straight line, like Volkswagen Group's private test track..though it would be fun if someone makes a mod...:D
  24. Didn't want to hear the Hamster's comment. I've already puked on it. What are yours comments? I can give u lots of reasons why I didn't get Fiesta. 1/ Generally it's too small for my needs (3 kids says it all). A typical city car. 2/ Small boot, with a high floor 3/ Too ugly and 'fishy' for my eyes Fusion got high clearance, high roof, extremely high visibility, very short hood, small turning circle, large low-floor boot....etc etc TG recommends Honda Jazz or Nissan Note over Fusion, which I also find as a poor choice, at least for me. They are both hopelessly fugly, with bad service support in my country and finally, both are much more expensive here. Maybe this little 'hat' is just what I need :D Of course I'd rather buy Focus RS, thanx for asking! ;)
