  1. That was not that bad, but if Hyundai could offer them a decent amount of sterling I believe the real guys could do a much better job mocking at themselves...:D
  2. http://i231.photobucket.com/albums/ee39/wroomster/need4speedHS008.jpg Oh yes, it did. But that's not the point. Sure it's not impossible to be done, but that was 12 years ago. Back then it was cool to have anything reflected at all, not it would look bad imo. I don't see the point in putting all those puddles but leave out the car reflection, even in a subtle form.
  3. ;) But wouldn't it be nice, now that we have a decent off road ability, to have this dusty road back, like it should be? I believe nothing is more fun than the real thing. Eventually, I would like this kind of games to be a nice alternative to sometimes very expensive reality. In fact I think these two are the same snapshot, only taken in two different times (u know, the changing time feature in the photo mode) and the other thing, second pic is not complete night, it's a sunset (not that it really explains the sun reflection in the side mirror). Third, I think ur just being too pedant...;)
  4. Well if u don't have a car reflection u'll never get the lights reflection as well, because they are the part of a car. What u talking about is u want the rear lights to illuminate the road surface just like the front lights do? I'd like both tbh, not for driving, but for still shots. This would make any 'wet' pic epic!
  5. In fact I can't even see any CAR reflections on the wet tarmac, let alone the rear lights. Only scenery got its reflection on the road. I'm sure this is still to be polished....well I hope so, cause it would be a major bummer if it stays this way...
  6. Nice graphics again! I could swallow a desert scenery (which I'm sure doesn't exist on neither of two islands) only for sake of diversity. Reminds me too much of Pro Street though....:oook:
  7. Oh my....something telling me that u are. :D Voted 8/10. Yes it was great, but I'm tough to be impressed. TBH it's mostly Vivaldi's merit. Without the music, it would be 6,5/10 ;)
  8. This switch feature is maybe a good idea for some space invaders shooting game, which I've never played and do hate them, but for a driving game, no matter how arcade it may be, c'mon, that's just stupid. It got decent playground though and maybe it's not on GTAIV graphic level but the hardware requirements will be much lower I'm sure. Maybe I'll give it a go, if the multiplayer part is up to the task. Anyways it gonna loose lots of playin' hours in consequence of TDU2...;)
  9. If he could afford a G25, he would never create this thread in the first place....but if ur really into the race gaming, u should consider start saving ur money.
  10. I'm a bit disappointed with some buildings accuracy though... Ibiza Airport in game is very lame comparing to the actual building...:sulk: http://i231.photobucket.com/albums/ee39/wroomster/TDU2/Ibiza_airport.jpg I guess licence issues strike again.
  11. Mate that's very impressive work! U actually found all the right spots from the old game. +1 Looking at this, I can't really see the 4 year distance between the two graphic levels. I mean TDU2 is better, but not that better. I suppose TDU1 was really ahead of it's time.
  12. Have u heard a mobile ringing @ 1:15? Could it be the new contact feature? Like in the middle of the race, some friend call u to meet him, or just to annoy u? :D
  13. Agree! That is one HOT trailer. This will be a very long summer....
  14. ur right, it is. But I also think too much of realism would take lots of fun away. simbin kinda games were always in the golden middle and that's where I'm hoping TDU2 will be.
  15. until u get married :D
  16. Chill out man, this is only for US citizens over 21. :oook: we're not interested....anyway :cheeky:
  17. Diablo thanx again for taking ur time and the very detailed story. btw did u notice by any chance a reflection of the dashboard on the windscreen? I love that little feature in Shift, brings a lot of reality into the view...:D
  18. Hm yeah, this is the really annoying thing about replays, in any game actually, not just TDU. I suppose this is the current game engines limitation? Any info about ffb support so far? I mean about its quality of course, not its existence :cheeky:
  19. http://i231.photobucket.com/albums/ee39/wroomster/Smilies/smiley-vault-misc-164.gifWith this read, the huge rock fell off my chest. Thanks Diablo for this, I believe I'm not worried about handling model any more.
  20. Something tells me ur quite pleased with the testplay. So I already am. Still can't wait though! :D
  21. I guess U got my answer to that question. It's not possible to preorder a US download version from Europe. All the boxes which have to be filled with info disappear and I couldn't proceed with order. Oh well... Anyways since the game will be epic, I don't have any problem with a higher price. Preordered it from Atari/Metaboli.
  22. Maybe it's been answered before so forgive me if it's the case. Since obviously the price for the US download version of the game is considerable lower than the same UK version (39,99$ vs 39.99 pounds), that is around 30% lower price in US :oook: why shouldn't we all pre-order the US version then?
  23. OK I believe u don't take me as a troll. I have to tell, the guy made some kind of point. It would be better if we try to send them some good vibes instead of mocking at them. That's very young forum with practically no moderators, so what do u expect? THere are quite lot of good members there, male and female and I'm kinda enjoying some threads, ignoring the annoying kids.
  24. LOL see? They are desperate! miamikid will kill'em'all :eek2:
