Yes, it's exactly the opposite! Oahu's area is 1,545.4 km². That would make the virtual world in Test Drive Unlimited 2 2.7 times smaller than the Hawaiian Island of Oahu that was featured in the first Test Drive Unlimited title! Now I'm officially totally confused about the size thing...

Now that we all know where TDU2 will be, it might be interesting to guess which landmarks or any kind of a detail, more or less specific for Ibiza Island will/should find its place in the game. Please don't post plain landscapes, try to keep it on a 'micro level'. And once again, ppl are forgetting Mallorca! Jet set paradise, half million ppl Palma city, 3,640.11 km2 (almost EXACTLY 2.5 times bigger than Oahu), lots of mountains (highest peak 1145m), great flat plains, even it may snow quite often during winters in central and high areas! A Top Gear 'Mallorca Rally' was also filmed there... This would be the perfect place, but no....:oook:

Would u like to have a game with many cool IMAGINARY cars? No? Why? They could be much more fun than real life cars! Or maybe not....:oook: So why everyone ask for the ultra realism for car models, car handling, engine noises, but they just don't care about the realism of the scenography? All I want is the real place to cruise through, maybe we could learn something useful, besides just having fun.... I don't say that Oahu is much more real in TDU1 but that was the thing that annoyed me the most, now they've made this giant Ibiza. Sorry, but I really don't get it why. Why would they do such a thing when there's several great islands of the right size and beautiful landscape/cityscape....u know what I'm talking about...:D Sorry for moaning, but I just don't get it.

Unfortunately, this would be correct. Real Ibiza is much smaller than Oahu, but they apparently blowed it up over 7 times. Other thing that is quite suspicious is 'big mountain groups' on Ibiza. What mountains on Ibiza? The highest peak there is about 450 meter above the sea. There's no trace of the mountain! It smells like an imaginary place, only briefly based on Ibiza. I know many of u have no problem with it, but it sucks to me. I love real places and replicating them in game is one of the coolest thing about TDU. More fatefully the better.

Does that mean no more fenced areas only reachable by jumping over something? That's great, I've always hated this. I'm very pleased that Eden actually decided to push the game style in GTA/Sims direction and one more thing they should really work on is the sense of driving itself, like SMS did in Shift. Now that would be really one hell of a game, ready to go straight to the hall of fames of driving games....

Well, u should see 'Medium' series. Alison Dubois was/is a psychic/medium who sees things from the past/future in her dreams, using this to solve all kinds of crimes for the government. The show was made according the real person, self-proclaimed medium/profiler.... ...maybe SHE could help us finding out the releasing date :D

All the features mentioned are great but '...Coming are for example co-op missions where the other player drives and the other is the co-driver in the same car...' part stays a bit confusing so far. What does that mean? A mate is doing the actual driving while I sit besides giving him the road directions? It sounds a bit silly to me. Don't wanna be a co-driver!! :D

Now that's just to extreme to be true. Doesn't it say the second half of 2010?

Wow someone takes this for an offence...:oook: don't see the reason why shouldn't we speculate about the location as long as it's not officially revealed. Photos are from Ibiza, so what? Wanna bet? ;)

No matter how hard they try, no one can really describe the culture and heritage of one specific place through a game. IMO they've totally failed to present Honolulu's atmosphere in TDU, all those were dead background scenography. No reason to believe this time they'll do a better job on that field. So real culture and heritage of an actual place is not something we may expect in game. Besides, Mallorca got much more of all that and some more. What I'd like to see is good old Oahu, more detailed, with any Mediterranean island in addition. That would be more than enough. We all are so much familiar with Oahu, many would love to cruise it again.

Well, considering that my 9800GT plays just fine with NFS:Shift happily over 50fps, and ur HD4850 is a bit faster, I'd say it should be enough for TDU2. New games are pretty much well optimised, hopefully TDU won't be the exception...

Actually I was referring to the fact that TDU was first announced on May 5th, which lately was used for TDU 505 plates. Now second TDU was announced on March 3rd, so it's not a coincidence I believe....
