TDU freeze in main menu

Hi, I'm new here and I've been installing quite a few mods on here, but the catch is that it's quite unreliable. I sometimes get to the main menu screen and it will just freeze while other times, I just get a black screen and would have to force quit the game.

 

 

I have the 1.66a patch and the 1.67d patch installed. As well as the megapack. I do have the .bnk file but it seems like that is not the root of the problem. Any help would be appreciated. Also, I may be suspecting it to be a 64 bit OS issue... Rig is under my name on the side.

Update: Seems like SLi was the problem with Test Drive Unlimited. Had to disable it to get it to somewhat work. It freezes from time to time, but at least it's playable with SLi disabled.

Well so you know, TDU is not compatible with SLI...

 

but, lol! you have a 260GTX of course will run smooth!

That fix works. But I found a better work around for it. Apparently, it does not support SLi is because Nvidia did not make a profile to support the game. Although that may be the case, downloading nHancer, a nvidia tool that gives you better flexibility towards games that Nvidia does not have profiles on, works with SLi now.
