I'm getting the Chippie Van tonight so not worries for me. :)

As long as it maintains the focus on teamwork and has great gameplay I couldn't care. I have very fond memories of BF1942 on a mates PC as well as the BFBC2 demo and also BF 1943 on XBLA. Games where being a lonewolf bore me.

Watching the way the car handled has made me consider a demo but probably not a buy. Then again the kids will probably love this, I mean beating up Police is always fun for them right? :D

You can never tell how something will turn out though, look at this place, back when it started I never imagined it would be what it is now. You guys are giving me a lot to think about. @Mb the whole keeping things is a bit of a tough sandwich to microwave due to the fact that in order to keep the general info and data you mentioned it would require first off the same software and vB isn't cheap (importing vB's data structure into another software isn't completely a no go though), and secondly mixing old with brand new is a recipe for trouble hence why the from the beginning method would probably be the proposed way we would go. Or at least test the waters with. :)

So just for talking sake, say TDUC stays in some shape or form but we start a new community (from scratch). Either Title Focussed or General Gaming Banter would you guys be up for that? Central's methodology would remain whereever it goes of course so the insanity and animals would also travel with us. Also is it mainly because you want to talk about other games/things out with here because TDU2 isn't exactly doing so great at the moment? More tellingly is it the distancing away from Atari and Eden that you're looking for us to do as well? Basically if we create it, will you come? :hmmm:

The fatal error thing is due to some fighting between the caching system and the PHP Encoder. I'm waiting for vBulletin 4.1.4 before delving and seeing what I can do about it and if what I think I will have to do, how that will effect server resources if I have to disable it or simply (ha!) find another means to optimise. As for this topic, I can't say that I haven't been considering this myself, not so much ditching tduc completely but creating a sort of general gaming community with the ideals and laid back'ness of Central. I'm watching what happens this month especially. Myself and you guys may be loyal to the series and want what's best for it, but we're not stupid and we don't just follow in blind faith. Respect goes both ways.

It's only out for the PC at the moment, Xbox and PS3 are either still at Microsoft and Sony (unlikely) or not been sent yet due to a) problems found and experienced with the PC version and/or b) the Eden strike. Due to events that have occurred a sort of shake-up has been done hence why you don't see Destra posting much however he is still at Atari and the communication and information releasing is now in the laps of the Atari PR gods. "Oh goody" I hear you say but hey think about it this way .... CAN IT ACTUALLY GET ANY WORSE THAN IT IS RIGHT NOW? :D Funnily enough Atari PR are apparently busy with E3 or something so any information ...(:hmmm:) won't be coming until after that at least.

I kind of know what is causing this, stopping it though is a bit of an issue but I'll have a look at it over the weekend.
