Xbox 360, PC, and PS3 Update Info (FREE DLC coming!)
Eudemon replied to iLLGT3's topic in Driving & Racing Games
Patch has been about 9 days now, unfortunately with this being a Friday it's looking likely it won't be coming till next week more than likely. And bigger cashcow IP's of course get more preferential treatment in this regard. I'm wondering who will be first to put the patch out; Sony or Microsoft? :hmmm: -
So basically no farting and belching in the presence of others?

Ito also created the Tomie and Uzumaki manga, and both inspired live-action horror films. [Via 2channel] Update: More story information added. The April issue of Kadokawa Shoten's Young Ace magazine is announcing on Friday that Yoshiyuki Sadamoto's science-fiction manga Neon Genesis Evangelion will resume in the next issue on April 4. The manga has been on hiatus since February of last year, and Sadamoto had previously indicated that the manga would resume this past winter. In addition to drawing the manga, Sadamoto has been busy as the character designer in Gainax's Neon Genesis Evangelion television anime series and Khara's ongoing four-film remake of the story. He launched the manga version in Kadokawa Shoten's Monthly Shonen Ace in 1994 and moved it to Young Ace in the magazine's inaugural issue in 2009. Viz Media published the 12th book volume — the last volume to ship in Japan — last month in North America. Source:ANN

DLC that unlocks content already on the disc is crap I agree, DLC that's actually new and has to be downloaded to be used is fine with me. And in regards to TDU2 modding, we won't be allowing car mods to be posted here for TDU2 for at least 6-12 months depending on the after release support of the game from Atari and Eden.

The game localization company JAST USA announced on Tuesday that its new JAST Densetsu brand is collaborating with the Japanese game maker 0verflow and the localization group Sekai Project to release the adult visual novel software School Days HQ in English this year. School Days HQ is the software and graphics upgrade — with new scenes — to 0verflow's original visual novel that inspired the anime of the same name. According to JAST USA, the English release will be uncensored and will have over 20 endings, including the harem endings and the sometimes violent bad endings. In the story, a love triangle develops when a boy enlists his close female friend to help him attract the attention of a girl in their same school. The 2007 School Days television anime series adaptation gained unexpected media attention when its final episode was preempted by a real-life axe murder in Japan. Instead of the final episode, the television stations aired a series of unrelated scenery images and the following text: "The programming has changed due to certain circumstances." The substituted boat scenery images led to the "nice boat" catchphrase that has spread throughout the overseas anime fandom and even into Japan. The media-distribution website Crunchyroll began streaming the anime in North America in 2009. Source:ANN

"Drifting Physics" is what killed the racing game imo. A game should have physics that allows the player depending on the skill level they choose to either have the car be controlled for them or allow the player to control the car. Having a set "drift" setup would be hell.

5 is smack bang in the middle of good and bad which is how many people referred to TDU1's handling. It's good in some aspects but bad in others. :)
-
On a scale from 1 - 10 (10 being the best) how would you rate TDU2's handling. Preferably those of you who have tried a number of the cars and also tweaked and played with the settings for your preferred device and such would be best. Also when you vote please state what mode of TDU1 you played in; eg if you played in Normal and Hypersport then you would vote (say 7) then post what you voted 7 Normal/Hypersport Just wondering what will be said though I do believe I'll know.

The publisher Kadokawa Shoten has confirmed that the limited first edition of Nagaru Tanigawa's next Haruhi Suzumiya light novel, Suzumiya Haruhi no Kyōgaku (The Surprise of Haruhi Suzumiya), will ship on May 25 with a special booklet containing a short story by Tanigawa. In addition to the short story, the booklet's 64 color pages will feature illustration work by novel artist Noizi Ito, contributions by artists Gaku Tsugano (The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya manga) and Puyo (The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi chan), and a behind-the-scenes account by the original editor of the light novel series. According to Monday's final issue of Kadokawa Shoten's The Sneaker magazine, the booklet's short story is called "Rainy Day," and it is set during the protagonist Kyon's time in middle school. Tanigawa had personally written the "Someday in the Rain" episode of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya television anime series. Due to its 600-page length, Suzumiya Haruhi no Kyōgaku will actually ship in two volumes in Japan; the limited first edition will shrink-wrap both volumes along with the special booklet. Kadokawa Shoten announced that Kyōgaku will have a worldwide simultaneous release, but it is not shipping on May 25 in all 13 countries that currently have the light novel series in print. It will ship on that day in Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Korea. Source:ANN

Nope, but we'll run another poll once the main crux of the game is sorted. How long this will take to happen is the real question.
