The Japanese game company Nihon Falcom listed "anime" in its planned expansion of its Sora no Kiseki (Trails in the Sky) role-playing game brand during the current fiscal year, which will end in September of 2011. On November 10, Falcom posted a supplemental document to its financial statement for the previous September 2010 fiscal year. The document listed the company's plans for the current September 2011 fiscal year, during which it intends to "strengthen the [sora no Kiseki] brand through multiple uses from comics, anime, and drama CDs to accessories." On November 18, the staff members of Falcom posted on the company's official Twitter account that they just saw the wraparound jacket band from the first compiled book volume of Emotion Comics' Sora no Kiseki manga. While the staff hinted that something "surprising" is on the jacket band for the December 10 manga release, Falcom has not announced that an anime or any other new project has been green-lit. The model-making studio Akiyamakobo has begun accepting orders for a human-sized (but not life-size) head of the Evangelion: 2.0 anime film's EVA-01 mecha mounted on a wall plaque. At 29 centimeters (about 12 inches) tall and 10,290 yen (US$125, tax included), the "EVA-01 Test Type Wall Figure from Evangelion: 2.0" offers a relatively smaller, less expensive alternative to the full-body, 2.09-meter (7-foot) EVA-01 figure, which Akiyama sells for 1,180,000 yen (US$14,200). Akiyamakobo will begin shipping the painted, fully assembled head next January. The wall plaque is octagonal, as inspired by the anime's AT Field barrier. Besides the two human-sized EVA-01 models, Akiyamakobo sells life-size figures of Evangelion's Rei and Asuka characters as well as Mighty Atom/Astro Boy 's title character. Akiyamakobo also sells a half-scale version of the fictional Sanka Mk B aerial fighter from Mamoru Oshii's The Sky Crawlers film. Well back in June no mention of real money was made either, I believe it would be far too much of a hassle to do something like that in a game. Now perhaps Eden could sell/license the tech for it for online poker sites or whatnot or create an actual standalone PC version outwith the TDU name and such but I can't personally think of any game that has ever required the usage of your own money to participate.

Nope because you're thinking is wrong imo. The TDU2 Casino has always been about TDU2 in effect, I mean you can only win credits that can be coverted to money to use in the game. You also have a chance at winning cars and also clothes you may not find in the retail game. The Casino was essentially to TDU2 as to what that Fable II arcade thing was to Fable II. A means of getting currency and items that can be used or shown off in the real game. The fact it was initially standalone means nothing as it was always intended for use with TDU2. I mean what would be the point of winning all that virtual money, an Audi R8 Spyder and some new threads and not be able to utilise them in anyway? There is no point hence it's all for the game. Also some people were saying in suggestions and such that they would like to be able to play games and whatnot when they don't feel like driving/racing around, which you can probably blame GTA IV for that part. I do feel it's a bit stupid to show a DLC trailer before the game is out for a few months though but then there could be a motive to this with the supposed pre-order announcement coming on the 26th of this month.

From what I read freeroam or Free Drive as it's called is single player only. 1 on 1 Interceptor appears to be freeroam as in no closed circuit but the 4v4 and 8 player racing are closed circuits. I was checking out the NFS forums when searching for "TDU2" on Google and this is what people are saying. Anyone who has the game who can say for sure would be appreciated though!

Even today there is no online freeroam in the NFS series? Ok that's sort of got me in a downer, they missed the boat on that one imo as we TDU fans are awaiting TDU2 and now it's been delayed, and as wrong and hurtful as it may sound (:eek:) ...a NFS may have filled the void.

On the consoles the game was nothing like a sim really. Maybe they've fixed that but when my Carrera GT started bouncing on Spa like it was like something out of a 90's rap vid. No way, that bit got toed!

Maybe in Wales it does but here umm nope. Then again that might be because their is a US Importer in Glasgow and you sometimes see their cars driving about.
