I think I'll be surprising BADNED with this stuff mate to be honest. I spent a good many hours hunting this stuff down including a very detailed experience talking about a lot of things in the game (at pre-production status) but like I said I don't want to post it as I think the hopeful announcement whenever that may be will do this for me.

Alright so you have seen the new or old (from 2007/8) but new to us concept artwork but, how do we know the game we all want and anticipate greatly is actually being worked on right now by the guys and girls over at Eden Games and all the other companies that are involved? Well you look at the work the Developers, Artists and Level Designers are doing and see if they were kind enough to let us know, and you know what, a good few of them did!! :D So without naming names I'm going to quote some work in progress and dates of work regarding Test Drive Unlimited 2 / TDU2. Found 19th February 2010 - Confirms PS3 development for sure Probably the most telling find (apart from TD Next mentions) Note: Programmer started with eden games in February 2009 Lead Game Designer (still with eden*) January 2008 - Present - Test Drive Unlimited 2 Programmer (still with eden*) September 2008 - Present - Programmer on TDU2 Lead CG Character Artist (still with eden*) June 2008 - Present - Test Drive Unlimited 2 3D Artist (still with eden*) March 2008 - Present - Level Artist on TDU2 Programmer February 2008 (not at eden) - Production of the game Test Drive Unlimited II as a programmer; made the weather effects 3D Programmer (no longer at eden) 2007 - 2008 - Weather effects Programmer Level Artist (no longer at eden) March 2007 - March 2008 - Test Drive Unlimited 2 Game/Level Designer (no longer at eden) January 2007 - October 2007 - Test Drive Unlimited 2 (Xbox360/???) * Creating/Tuning secondary missions not linked to main game story * Character customisation * Creating off-road tracks (with inhouse editor) * Research on Background graphics Graphics Programmer (still with eden*) October 2005 - Present 3D programmer on Test Drive Unlimited 2: - Night lighting Online Lead (no longer at eden) July 2004 - September 2007 - Test Drive Unlimited 2 - Xbox360/PC/??? Senior Level Designer (no longer at eden) 2004 - July 2007 - Game Design, Level Design, Satellite Data Processing on Test Drive Unlimited 2 Art Director (still with eden*) July 2002 - Present - Working on Test Drive Unlimited 2 [for] ???/Xbox360/PC And a nice little excerpt from a CV "Summer 2007, course last year, three months at Eden Games. 3D graphic designer on Test Drive Unlimited 2. Modelling, texturing, integrating objects, scenery and vegetation development of land areas; lighting in buildings. Vray/3dsmax, participation in pre-production of the game, etc.." *Although their statuses may say that they are still currently at Eden it is not absolute, not to mention that a good few of the original team seem to have moved on and even setup their own studio in Lyon called Ivory Tower.

Probably not, think more of how the first game started I would imagine.

Little update again, shows a concept of a Racing School along with what looks like a lot of fun. As usual update is in the first post. :) [+] Also added a concept artwork for an Airport.

Went scouring the internet after TDU2 info and found a wealth of stuff, some which would be wrong to show as it would spoil what I hope would be the eventual announcement of the game itself. Enjoy! Update #4 is in the first post!

From what I've heard it hasn't exactly been smooth sailing for the project. (unofficially of course)

Ten did you paste all yours in as you should have reached the server tduc is actually on at the end?

A few members have been reporting of slow connections and sometimes even lagging of the Chatbox and Board itself to help us and our host figure this out we are asking those of you who are having problems to do the following: 1) Goto Start > Run > type "cmd" Press Enter 2) Copy the bold text opposite: tracert tdu-central.com > traceroute.txt && notepad.exe traceroute.txt and Paste it into the Command Prompt window you just opened 3) Along with your Location please copy the contents of this report into this thread and please surround the text with [plain] your text [/plain] tags. 4) Repeat 2-3 times for best results and also please make sure your connection is free ie; no downloading etc for best examples. 5) MAKE SURE TO REMOVE your IP address which should be within the the 1st, 2nd or 3rd Hop. If you are not sure what you should be posting DON'T POST! Thanks!

Good to hear Iced as I've been wanting to get rid of you for ages! :cheeky: j/p No really it's good to hear and honestly I would prefer that you guys come here when you have some freetime and such as I don't think being here constantly is a good thing either. I know that's a strange thing for me to say considering I'm the admin and all but really I want you all to live and have a life, this place is for fun not for life ...well hopefully we'll be here for a good while but I don't want you here all the time.
